I'd say nearly all my (short) life I've hungered for a path to follow... a route I could walk on into adulthood and independency. Living on my own, getting married, having discipline and accomplishments... all of that seemed like a far-off dream.

That was until God gave me a little bit of a nudge. I ended up taking the ASVAB (military aptitude) test with my buddy, just to see what I would get. It was supposed to be for fun, no biggie. I ended up getting a score of 86 out of 99- most people get around 40. That means I can do anything I want in the military... specifically the Air Force. So, now my life has a definate path.

Thank you God!

I estimate I'll be ready to go in around this coming January. I could go sooner, however. All depends on what I want to do.. I can go whenever I want. My mom couldn't be more excited. (imagine that!)
