Hey Fez,
It's hot and sunny here... we'll cook out for the neighborhood tonight - most of our neighbors are very elderly and they all come - we are cooling down some watermelon and have set the chairs out... we can see the fireworks from across the river tonight. We won't have as many of our sweet neighbors this year - they are slowly dying away... but they love to come over with our younger neighbors next door and we do have a nice time. Independence Day was always so important in our family - we remember the many sacrifices made by the men and women who struggled and died to win our freedom - which, despite the feelings of some - we still have and enjoy. Times will get better and I pray as do so many others. God Bless you, Fez!!! |
