ze 44:4 Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

this may not be the perfect scripture for what I want to say but the point is when He saw the Glory of the Lord he just could not stand but fell upon his face before Him...

Has the Lord ever spoken so intensley to your heart that you could not stand but had to fall on your face before Him..
Who He is was so overwhelming it just took your breath away...

There have been a couple of threads about this but none that are sharing kind of thread..

It is an awesome experience and I will never look at God the same way as I did ..
He is all powerful..omnipotent ...Holy...forgiving..faithful..steadfast..and a million more adjective I just cannot come up with...

I remember talking about His forgiveness to us and it just so struck my heart how big and incredible that forgiveness was that I was overwhelmed by it... I am completely forgiven...
Oh how can I stand in His presence ... in the revelation of who He is.. sometimes I cannot... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-heartbeat.gif)

I am curious to see how many folks who come here have and in what situation you were in that His presence was so awesome to you.

I saw the light of God once and it was exactly as it has been discribed in the bible. I was in a church and it was alter call. It was the first time I had ever obeyed the unction to go to the alter to pray for/with and lay hands on some one. It just came out of no where. It was just there in the air about 20 or so feet high and it had beams of light coming out from it just like a star would. I knew the lights were on in the church but I could not see them. I could see people walking around at the alter but they were all just very deep and dark black silhouettes. I couldn't see the colors of their faces, clothing, the paint on the walls or any thing that had color to it. It was like a black and white movie with lighter or darker shades of black and white. Nothing anywhere I looked out shined the light of God. I looked up and said to my self " where did that come from ". Even the camera and camera man were pitch black but I could tell the camera was pointed in my direction. So when I got back for evening service I asked if I could see the film because I wanted to see if the film showed me lifting my hand to my brow to shield it from the intense light while I was looking up at the same time. Unfortunately the recording equipment had gone nuts during that time.
But I know what I saw and this is the revelation I got from that vision and a dream like it.
The only reason that we can see any of the colors of the earth and all that is on it is because of the light of God. With out it every thing would be pitch black. That is an example of how big God is.
I like to ask people how many times did God create light and 99% of the people I ask will say "once". But that is wrong because God first created His light on the first day. It wasn't until the forth day that God created the sun and the moon.

Wow, what and experience. Did anyone else see what you saw? God is incredible and I sometimes wish that I would have an experience like you described.

No, no one else saw it that I know of but they could have and kept it to them selves. Things like that come from God when you least expect them. We should remember that when God does show us something it is for a reason. In my case I believe it is for the future. He has given me something to hang onto in a time of great trouble. Something to help me endure what ever comes my way to the end.

I know exactly how you feel. I am humbled that the Lord's presence has been so heavy on me at times, many times, that all I could do was fall on my knees in awe of Him. All I could do was worship and praise His for saving a wretch like me. There are also times that I am moved to prostrate myself before Him when I am seeking His face and realize that apart from Him I am nothing. Jesus is Lord and He is worthy or praise. In His presence is where I am changed.
