1. My dad has been sober for about 5 days now. We keep praying with him, telling him how much we love him and how proud we are of him. He is starting to feel really good about himself, talking about going back to school to get his automotive mechanic license again, he even went in the pool today with my mom which he hasn't done in 20 years. He has some tremors, withdrawls from the alcohol but he is sticking to it. There is a guy coming over Thursday or Friday from the celebrate recovery at the church to talk to him and pray with him and see about getting him to one recovery meeting there once a week. I am administering his meds to him and we have gotten his sugar down to normal numbers today so we are really excited about that. His equilibrium is still off from the stroke but he is coping and is in good spirits.

2. Mom is getting better day by day. She and I are doing bible studies with Adrian Rogers online audio sermons about marriages. I am praying with her and showing her how to be the Christian wife that she needs to be to him. Surprisingly, the more she is being a CHristian wife to him, the happier it makes him and he gets motivated to do better. She is doing puzzles and things like that to stimulate her brain to help the PTSD.

3. My husband is doing better. Still hasn't touched xanax and it's been over 4 months now. He just got to borrow a vehicle from our landlord so he can get to and from work now without having to take the bus anymore and that was an answered prayer.

4. More and more every day, God is giving me opportunities to pray for other women, give my testimony and to teach women to pray on their knees for their husbands and to choose the path of obedience. This is a blessing, an absolute blessing. I feel so blessed that when I go to school for psychology, I might even choose a career in counseling women in the Lord. I haven't decided that yet. The more I grow in the Lord, the more I want to choose a career that helps the Kingdom of God and that is so amazing. It has inspired me to start a prayer journal tomorrow where I plan to put prayers and update them with when they are answered so I can praise the Lord over and over again.

All of these are answered prayers. Thank you Jesus!

And thank you for your prayers. You guys, I just can't describe how beautiful all of this really is. I love the Lord so much that my heart feels like it is going to burst out of my chest.
