Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for ?
That's God talking to you through the Holy Spirit. Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to ? That's God wanting you to talk to Him. Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in a long time and then the next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them ? That's God. There is no such thing as coincidence. Have you ever received something wonderful that you didnt ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you needed, but couldn't afford it ? That's God knowing the desires of your heart. Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it was going to get better, how the hurting would stop, how the pain would ease, but now you look back on it. That's God passing us through tribulation to see a brighter day. In all that we do, we should totally give thanks and our blessings will continue to multiply. |

Yes, I have experienced all of the above...it could only be God.
I thank Him everyday for the many many things that happen...and do not happen...to me and the people around me. Blessings...South |

I've been thinking about my Grandfather a lot lately, and I always think about taking my family and going to bring dinner to his house.. Problem is, when I've tried to talk to my dad about the idea, he told me something along the lines of, it's not a good idea.. Should I bring up the idea again?

Why not take something your grandfather would enjoy eating and going for a visit on your own? |

He has been so physically ill lately and refuses to go to a nursing home. I never get to see him because he is in such bad shape and can't come to sporting events, school events, family gatherings--though he is more than welcome. I think his stubborn nature keeps me distant, because if I go over on my own I don't know what kind of state he will be in.. His personal hygeine is also pretty bad, so he might feel embarrassed if I come over. Basically, I don't want to be a burden. I would love it if the whole family went and everyone would feel more comfortable. I think I will try asking the family again.. At least one more get together before I go off to college because we don't know how much time he has.. |

If He Is Sick And Sorrowful And Stuff The Last Thing He'll Need Is A Crowd Sniffing Around His Place Tiring Him Out With Fussing And Poking Around And Asking Questions And Bossiness And Such Call Him Up And Ask If You Can Bring Him Something And If You Could Visit For Just A Little Bit (Some Of Us Tire Easily) If He Says No Ask Him If He Minds If You Call Every So Often If He Says No Tell Him You Love Him And Pray For Him Every Day And Enjoy College Praying! |
