Prayer needed - Worthy Christian Forums

I cannot remember who originally posted this agenda on WB. I would ask, in advance, for the forgiveness and indulgence of that person if I use it to my own purpose.
AGENDA
· To try and see everyone through the eyes of Jesus because my eyes are prejudiced and prideful.
· To try and love them like Jesus because my love is selfish.
· To let them others know that my relationship with Jesus has changed my life, given my life purpose, given me strength to endure tragedy, and real hope for the future.
· To be gentle in relating the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to people in every situation and mired in any sin. My goal is to introduce them to Jesus and let them work out their salvation in fear and trembling.
· To exhibit grace and forgiveness to those who attack me for not sharing their views.
· To be an example of the living Christ to everyone I come in contact so that I can be salt and light to my little circle of influence.
· To be a advocate for those wounded by the church and other Christians. Our lack of unity must grieve the Lord who prayed for unity of the body during His final agonizing hours before His betrayal, mock trial, and crucifixion.
· To try to never be surprised or repulsed by the actions of those who do not have a relationship with Jesus. The Lord Himself was always gentle with sinners and always tough on religious hypocrites. We have reversed his example far too often. We are too tough on sinners and too gentle with the hypocrites.
· To try and give generously of my time and treasure to those who have not been as materially blessed in my neighbourhood, my country, and around the world.
· To let people know that I love Jesus and I am not at all ashamed of that fact.

In short, brothers and sisters in Christ may I paraphrase the words of the Apostle Paul by saying – I have not been a faithful servant – I have done that which I would not do and not done that which I should do……

I ask for the collective power of your prayers as I try to reaffirm the agenda.

It still excites me when I see God using the small thing for His Glory. God is so faithful to each us, Unrepeatable" miracles that He will make ways for us to come to the end of ourselves and cry out for Him. oh my goodness, that list left me speechless.
i am gonna print it and put it were i can see it often so that when i pray for myself for all those things, i will pray for you too, and my brothers and sisters in Christ.

[i][color=#990000]Wow, what a wake up call when I read it this morning!! Especially the fact that I for one, am very hard on sinners and so often I am such a hypocrate myself, that I am ashamed this morning, because I fail in so many ways. But, GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME and God is forgiving and His mercies are new every day!! I am printing the agenda out, so that I can read it often. As I pray for myself to change into the likeness of Jesus Christ my Saviour, I will also pray for every prayer partner on this site.

A wonderful post! One that needs to be pinned and I will contact a board mod to see if that can be done. We all need this reminder in front of us!

yes, we all need to remember that scripture. We need to align ourselves to the Word of God and treat others as we would treat Jesus for what we do we do unto others we do unto Him.
