What does Worthy mean to you?
To start the topic, here is what it means to me. I belong to a church that I attend every Sunday. I host a home group and help run it every Tuesday - I teach and share at this group. I attend prayer meeting on Wednesdays when I can get off work early. I do outreaches into Mozambique three times a year, and support a small bush church there. Worthy, I thought at first, would "fill in the gaps", and to a degree it is doing that. But it has become so much more. I have made friends all over the world, I talk to them almost daily, I have posted ideas, stories and replys to posts. But I have found Worthy to be so much more. I have seen in my short time here, people join and grow in their knowledge and maturity, I have spoken to those who are lost, or are seeking, and unfortunatly to some who have been sent with evil in their hearts (they don't stay around long though, thank the Lord - and the mods!), and I have learned and grown within myself and my walk. We sometimes don't thank those who have been chosen to lead, and under whose authority we chose to place ourselves, and I think that they also need to know from time to time what good work they are doing in the Lords name. So thank you to the Worthy team, your treasures in heaven are building, and you have changed lives, and in my walk made it "fuller" somehow. But I encourage all members, that there is no substitute for your local church. You need the fellowship that comes from eye contact, the spoken word, good works amongst a body of belivers, and sometimes just a shoulder to cry on. Oh how I wish I could look at some of the people I have met in Worthy in the eye, for only that way can I really see their hearts, and they mine. God Bless you all |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) WB has been a place where GOd has brought so many wonderful people into my life and it is forever changed due to that~
I hope the 2009 gathering is as much fellowship and fun as last years- what a blast that was~ I also, am given the opportunity to look at different points of view and that helps keep me balanced in my thinking~ ZOE |

Worthy to me is like a room in my house where I can go and meet with friends that I have invited into my life. They hang around in that room at my house, if they have time. When I get there I'm not sure whose going to be there but I'll be sure to find someone that I love. Or maybe someone that I'm gonna love soon. In that room in my house, God pulls up a chair beside me and as I begin to connect with these friends and acquaintances I feel his arm slide over my shoulder as he sits beside me and we (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-handshake.gif) begin a time together. The God in me connecting with the God in them. The God in me reaching out through me to someone he's been trying to get through to.
I too would love to meet face to face some of the ones that have made up this place called Worthy. I hope to meet a few at Nashville in June this year. But if I don't get to, that's OK. I'll see them in that room in my house some time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/group-hug.gif) |

WB has been a great blessing to me. I have been searching for a church for sometime now. No luck as of yet, but I continue to search. I came here just looking for good clean chat when I first registered. This place got me hooked. I have met wonderful people that I call friends and family now.
I have seen edification beyond what I've ever witnessed in any building. I also see reproach (in a loving manner most of the time), building up of others, people being accountable for one another, I've seen people offer money to those on here in need...To sum it up, WB has a bunch of wonderful people in which I'm not ashamed to say "I love". Loving Christians. This place has also been a place of refuge for me. We all have our stumbling blocks, this place keeps me from mine. To all of you I have chatted with or simply discussed topics...Thank you, love you, and God bless you...you don't fully realize what your presence has done for me and what it has kept me from doing. With Love in Christ |

God Bless you all Fez, Like you, I have met Christians from all over the world who have given me encouragement, prayer, Christian love and much knowledge that I hadn't had previously. I've enjoyed the different perspectives and the people who make up this "Virtual Church". When I came here I wanted to be invisible - I was healing from illness and so tired and fraught with worry and pain. I immediately found peace from the words of several wonderful Christians. There will always be disagreements in our "family", here. Those things teach me to forgive and move on. I'm so glad that I've met my brother Fez. God Bless You. |

It's very encouraging to see someone who's only been here for a few months give praise for this ministry. Bless you, fez, for your words. They certainly come at a needed time. Isn't Gods' timing incredible?
I can't believe I've been here for 7 years as of this month. I've seen people come and go, and come again, along with some other longtimers, like me, that never left. This place has provided different needs for different members. It's been very rewarding to watch young people grow and mature. It's been encouraging to see older people mellow and bloom. Personally, it's been humbling to look into the mirror and see some things removed, but other things arise that were beneath the surface. This place has helped me to look into that mirror, despite the pain - sometimes, forcefully, and oftentimes reluctantly. Worthy has been a place of spiritual growth for me. Never in a million years would I have ever guessed that I would gain lifelong friends in this manner. Yet I have. |

Wow, am I getting old or is there something in the water? Sheesh!!!! Seriously, it seems like just recently I joined Worthy. Worthy to me has been an occupation, a frustration, a blessing, a burden, a cause of loss of sleep, a place of learning, my therapy, my insanity, my amazement, and a place of growth. I stand in awe at what God has created through this ministry, and yet I am also humbled to see what God is doing among His people - one at a time. |

Worthy is one of the few places I can interact with other Christians because I know very few. I have not been able to find a church I like either. I'm sure a lot of you can relate to belonging to other Christian sites and finding them wanting in one way or the other. Worthy is the only one I visit regularly. The owners and moderators of this forum do a terrific job. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
