For some reason I am unable to get in to Chat....my Java is current and so is firefox (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-questioned.gif) (wipes eyes).

treasured, what does it say when you try to go to chat? I saw another thread with this exact problem, so here is the link to the new java. I know you said yours was current, but maybe this one is better, I don't know....

strange i had the same problem ,i log off went back to windows, started again, it was ok then , that was couble days ago .

I ran scans and was able to get in twice yesterday and once day-before so thought it was "fixed"....but today is the same thing...I get logged in and can view the boards but when I try to get in chat I get a page with a box in the upper left corner with a red X in it instead of the Java logo.

I am not a computer person, so maybe someone out there can help me.....I can get into worthy boards...but not chat. I switched to Firefox and downloaded Java to it.....removed java from IE and was able to get in to chat a few times but now can't...should I remove IE completely?....everything shows that I have the latest updates in Java and that they are running but every time I try worthy chat I get a message that the applets failed.
