okee doke; hi kids (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I've been blessed to apply for grant for my business... have a budget that will be approved.... I want to know, what is the best digital camera and laptop

I sell clothing for women; and need my pics to look professional looking - i've cut corners and instead of buying a back drop, i'm buying mdf and paint it white or just get a large white board for background... i'm confused on the pixels and all that... your lovely answers are most welcome; and God bless!

kind regards,
sofia

Digital cameras ...the higher the "pixel" the better the photo ...mind you if they are being sent to other peoples computers then it is also down to whatever specs the recievers computer has (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Make sure you have one that has a large viewer so you are not squinting and try going to the specialist camera shops to ask for advice even if you then go buy it on e bay or such.

There is even a good web site hosted by " Which" the consumer magazine and they have tested most of the cameras and laptops and will give you a list of the pros and cons ...worth subscribing to it before you go and spend out on what may turn out to be an expensive mistake (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Last year I bought a Sony digital camera fo rmy business and I'm totally happy with it.

Sony DSC-H1, Super steady shot 5.1 megapixels, 2.5 LCD monitor, 12x optical zoom...You can adjust the picture settings for sending e-mail.

This is my first digital cam. I was lucky to find a store clerk who was very knowledgeable.

I really like this camera.

FWIW: You may want to consider using either white or black felt for a backdrop. A painted surface, even with flat paint may have some glare which is very undesirable. Also, a "large white board" may also have some glare.

We found that felt made a nice backdrop without any glare.

You might find this Link helpful in choosing a camera. As for a laptop, I can not offer you any advise, I am getting ready to get one myself, however I already know the gist of what I need.

I second that! That's the same camera I have. It's awesome! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)
