The question asked is " DO YOU BELIEVE IN ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?"
my answer is NOPE....but you guys are right this is a debate that never changes in fact they have gotten down right nasty. Because of that I will just say..No, I do not believe in that for many reasons all of which ARE scriptural.
And with that said I think I will just sit back and watch the bullets fly. :taped:

A young child was asked how many True God’s there were, she replied without any hesitation, one miss. How can you be so sure? Well miss He fills all things with His presence so there’s only room for one.
Let us apply this child like trust to the question, do you believe once saved always saved?
If by saved you mean has the person received the gift of eternal life, how can eternal life then become temporary life?
Grace & truth, H.

I agree with you, and I will sit back with you.....I used to believe in OSAS, but it was shown to me that it isn't scriptural....

I am perfectly safe in the hands of the Lord...
I know that ..
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I think the parable of the sower and the seed gives some of the answer. The seed on rocky places, that sprang up, but was later scorched. The seed among weeds, that grew, but was choked. These could be examples of saved people "losing it"

Many are called but few are chosen, once chosen there is grace provided for the entire race and we are chosen in Him before the foundation of the wolrd.

Romans 11:29 - "For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable".
John 10:28 "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish: no-one can snatch them out of my hand"
