Yep, but they are here in Christian forums. Drawing people in. As for me, I have my own views of these things and I would like to express them to test them. But people often stop the disc ion altogether. I believe all this Rabbinic ritual as a replacement for law, has hurt the Jewish people, as well as continues to be a roadblock to true evangelism. These rituals of Rabbinic Judaism came from the Pharisees, and have served as a stumbling block to the gospel of Jesus Christ. IMO, it has caused them so much suffering, for not finding Christ who bore their sin and it's punishment. John's baptism was a baptism of repentance to escape the wrath of God which was by the law was coming upon Israel. Such a miserable thought that the Jewish people cant even see they are not keeping the law God gave them.

    • The Great Image.
Greetings again Kan and Last Daze,       I believe that the term “times of the Gentiles” as found in Luke 21:24 relates to the subjugation of Judah, Jerusalem and the people of Israel by the Gentiles. In this context it is not speaking of the period of time when the gospel message has been going mainly to the Gentiles. Luke 21:22-24 (KJV): 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.   This passage also alludes to or quotes Daniel 8: Daniel 8:13-14 (KJV): 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.   This subjugation started when Nebuchadnezzar invaded Judah and destroyed the Temple. There has been a partial reversal of this in the events of AD 1967, 2300 years after the overthrow of the ram (Persia) by the goat (Greece) as depicted in Daniel 8. The full restoration of Israel, Jerusalem and the temple will only occur at the return of Jesus when he comes to sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem for the 1000 years.   Kind regards Trevor
    • Does the Antichrist glorify God?
While Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet are all part of God's plan, it does not mean that they are "pre-programmed robots" that God set to "self-destruct" their actions. Satan chose of his own will to rebel against God, while the AC and FP follow their own wills. Especially since the latter are human-born, God has not denied them the ability to choose between good and evil; rather, through their own choices, they elect to follow their own lusts and are groomed by Satan into the roles they will play. Otherwise, they could simply say "God made me like this!" and God would be unjust to throw them into the Lake of Fire. With that said: while God ultimately wins, and mankind's failures, sin and whatnot do not derail but figure into His plans, the Antichrist is opposed to and stands against God. He also represents a "replacement Christ", that is, a "christ" that the world can accept rather than the True Christ whom the world doesn't want. Being that "Christ" is the Greek translation of "Messiah"(which is Hebrew for "Savior"), this is a "savior" that the world wants and not the One that God sent. Ultimately, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord; but as far as "glorifying God", the only glory the AC and FP will give God is when they show how truly impotent and fake they actually are at Armageddon.
