There are two aspects to "the dead in Christ", one relates to the body, the other to the soul and spirit. The dead in Christ are those who expired on earth and whose bodies are in the grave. But their souls and spirits are always alive to Christ, and live with Christ in Heaven.
When Scripture says that "the dead in Christ shall rise first" it should be obvious that this speaks of the dead bodies being resurrected. Their souls and spirits will be brought by Christ to be joined to their resurrected bodies, and from then they will live with Christ in glorious and immortal bodies, and fully perfected.
"Christians that have died",
How so, Christians they are alive in Christ when they lived, are they not ?
It is throughout the Gospel, is it not?
Do they stopped been alive to Christ when they die.
Hope I am not giving you the unreachable task.
Do Christians from been alive to Christ, become dead to Christ at time of death?
Hope that you understand that Christians are ALIVE TO CHRIST when they are still living.
Rev. 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after these [things].”
The "these [things]" were the events of the letters to the 7 Churches of John's time. Everything John was shown from Rev. 4:1 onward, according to the angel, was to take place after. That is the testimony of heaven, and you would be wise to accept it.
The Manchild of Rev. 12 is explained by Jesus himself in Rev. 2:26-27.
Rev. 12 describes events starting from just before the GT and for sometime thereafter, including the 1260-day period of Israel's judgment during the 7 Trumpets.
I hope this weekend to finish the book on Enoch I'm reading and start on a book on DNA. Besides that, I'm going to enjoy my 3-day weekend with my wife, dogs and fixing my car, if the relay comes from Amazon comes in time. I really appreciate Amazon's breath of products, customer reviews and quality service. I might even get some shooting done at the range. Hope you all have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
