Out of curiosity I checked what Wikipedia would say about Nineveh...it is remarkably interesting history and though we need no validation of the Bible account....it does back it up...the city of Mozul in Iraq is located across from where Nineveh was situated and the Christian churches still today celebrate the Three days that Jonah was in the fish's belly...this is just an aside but a most interesting read about God's destruction of that fortified city.
Still we are praying for all matters.. I am hoping there is a right time for all things.. hope can not end or die.. it not gives the shame but only sin can give shame I hope in right way,, to see great things,.
This is not supported by God's Word: Ezek 28:14-15 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. KJV This is God speaking through His prophet and claiming Lucifer's, now satan, beginning state this agrees with God's Word in the beginning: Gen 2:1-3 2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. KJV We are held accountable to stand upon the Scripture not our presumptions! God has no part with sin in The Eternity! That is why He has created the place of the lake of fire where only His wrath abides forever... Love, Steven
I still reside at Montgomery Elderly Care, in Montgomery, W. Va. I am 75 years of age and still have Cerebral Palsy and still confined to wheelchair or bed. I still teach a Sunday School class here regularly, although this position is shared with others on staff, here. I have lived here at Montgomery Elderly Care Center for almost 11 years, at the time this is written. Bill Neil
