Then you misunderstand the pattern of types and shadows in the Old Testament, so many of which Paul explained in the New. As as old saying goes, "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed." From my website:     When Prince Solomon was made King of Israel in 1031 BC, and began to sit on the royal throne in Jerusalem, it was a type and foreshadowing of the accession of Jesus Christ over the "Kingdom of this World."  Revelation 11:15

One of Christ's titles is Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6  Solomon's name came from the Hebrew word for peace, Shalom: therefore Solomon was also literally Prince [of] Peace, and a type of the Messiah/Christ.  1 Chronicles 22:9

God clearly revealed this relationship between the two men by promises he made to David about his son Solomon. These promises apply equally to Jesus:

I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons [both Solomon and Jesus were physical descendants of David]; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son...  1 Chronicles 17:11-13
    • Just wondering about Donald Trump
All  présidents lives are a target for someone who disagrees with their policies ,and has a  real motive, and opportunity . I am wondering if you think it is more likely in his case, than the two previous incombents ?

I hope this weekend to finish the book on Enoch I'm reading and start on a book on DNA.  Besides that, I'm going to enjoy my 3-day weekend with my wife, dogs and fixing my car, if the relay comes from Amazon comes in time.  I really appreciate Amazon's breath of products, customer reviews and quality service.  I might even get some shooting done at the range.  Hope you all have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
      God Bless,

"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.  [NASB, John 15:13]
How much more is the love of Jesus for us that He laid down His life for us who were not yet His friends?  And let us never forget this Memorial Day the ultimate sacrifice of our men and women in service to this country, who put their lives on-hold, and on the line for all of us.  God bless them, their families and friends.
