(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Simple isn’t it. Take it, dwell upon it dissect it if you have to but yet it is so simple, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Do you see any conditions attached to this simple statement, none that I can see. How much more complicated do you want it to be. Its great isn’t it, doesn’t ask anything of you, does not require you to do anything, yet the reward is salvation. No going to church, no trying to please God, no trying to be good, no having to set yourself rules or regulations to live by, no you don’t have to do anything just call upon His name. This is why He died for us, this is why He was humiliated before His own, this is why He gave up His own life knowing how painful it would be, so that you and I would not have to do anything but call upon His name. You see He has already done all the work there is no more work to be done, His gift to man kind, so simple so elegant and yet so forgotten.

God bless

For salvation, we also read the following ...

Ephesians 2:8-9 (New King James Version)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast

And What Do We Give To The LORD In Return For Such A Great Gift?

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
