By Charlene Israel
CBN News Reporter
Monday, February 28, 2011

Black pro-life leaders gathered on Monday in Philadelphia, Penn., for a day of mourning outside of Dr. Kermit Gosnell's clinic. They say in some black communities, more babies are aborted than are allowed to live.

Gosnell is the late-term abortionist charged with several counts of murder.

The pro-life leaders said the abortion industry has been using abortion for "population control" and their target is African Americans.

In many black communities, for every child actually born, three others are aborted -- more than double the rate among whites. In the last 25 years, 12 million blacks have been aborted.

Dr. Clenard Childress, founder of website Black Genocide, said the consequences of those figures will eventually end up destroying a whole race of Americans.
