All judement was given to the Son, and He says He judges no one until the last day. So, with the disasters that have been happening with our nation I don't believe it is God's judgement upon America. I believe that is a twisted view of the Father and the nature of reconciliation. There will come a day for judgement, but today isn't that day.

John 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

What if the disasters are the result of the devil having more authority? The devil's nature is to kill, steal, and destroy and that is what we are seeing with the disasters hitting America. We will reap the fruit of the king we serve. If America is separating from God and chosing another king, satan, then he has more authority to kill steal and destroy. We know from scripture that satan can cause storms and natural disasters. We see that when Jesus rebuked the storm. We know that the devil is a murderer, we see that in the Sandy school shooting.

1 Samuel 8:10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. 11 And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. 12 He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. 14 And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. 16 And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. 18 And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”

19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us, 20 that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”

21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord. 22 So the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed their voice, and make them a king.”

1 Samuel 10:17 Then Samuel called the people together to the Lord at Mizpah, 18 and said to the children of Israel, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all kingdoms and from those who oppressed you.’ 19 But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said to Him, ‘No, set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans."

If the disasters coming upon us are not of God who desires all men to be saved, but of the devil, then we can actually do something about it. We are instructed to pray for all men, and we know that Jesus gave us all authority over the enemy. The only authority the enemy has is through the power of agreement. We are the salt of the earth, salt was used to preserve things, that is why lot and his wife prevented sodom and gamorah from being destroyed until they left the city. I believe instead of coming into agreement with what the devil is doing, if we stand against it through prayer and intercession and live out the ministry weve been given we'll see a change. We have the ministry of reconciliation, not holding the tresspasses against them but reconciling them back to the Father.

1 Timothy 2:1Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ[a] and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

2 Corinthians 5:18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Luke 10:18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather[f] rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

bopeep, first off, thankyou for fixing the link, secondly, have you read that article? Im going to guess you havent. Because, like man has already stated, that article, is saying exactly what ive been saying. That this supposed RFID chip isnt the mark of the beast. Actual quote from your article

It is important to realize that a medical implant chip is not the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast will be something given only to those who worship the Antichrist.

I dont know how the end times plays out, there are some that think that due to EMPs or whatever, current technology will be wiped out completly, and the mark will be a tattoo, or something similar that you have to have to buy or sell. If technology isnt wiped out, then other one is right in this case-the mark, wont be implemented until we hit a cashless society-and that likely wont happen until after a one world government. And for that to happen, with todays turmoil, It would take a global disaster to bring everyone together under one roof-like say, a rapture or another world war. In either case, you can rest assured that this RFID chip (which doesnt exist yet by the way) is not the mark of the beast.

I am afraid we will have to agree to disagree on this.I do believe that their will be a literal chip implanted in the body.

Your missing the point. First off, what evidence do you have of this RFID chip being implemented soon? theres no legislation in play about it right now, none whatsoever, that Ive seen. Your making invalid assumptions, based on zero evidence. And, as both me and other one has pointed out, even if there was legislation to do so right now so what. Its not the mark of the beast. According to both the Bible, and the very link you gave us. So what would be so evil about this RFID chip? the only thing I can see is invasion of privacy. If you want to believe in it fine, but I think we as christians spend to much time living in fear of things like this, without even knowing why we believe in them. You have presented no evidence that this RFID chip even exists, not alone that its anything to be afraid of, and if there is no evidence, why do you believe it? So I encourage you, to thoroughly research this-as is evident you have not yet-before automatically deciding Im wrong.

Get yourself into the position with God that He will 'place a difference' between you and the world, just as during the severest judgments on Egypt He 'put a difference' between Israel and the Egyptians."

Amen!

I started with the post on America under judgement from God because we no longer take Him serious. From there I got to an article by a preacher named Greg Laurie. Laurie talks a lot about the RFID chip which he says we are currently using in our pets. He admits we're a way's off from putting them in us. I think 1 of his main points is the technology to make the things happen, prophesied in the Bible now exists. I agree. In fact I didn't even buy a PC until 1999, because deep down in my soul and spirit, I felt the bad things prophesied could never happen without the technology of the microchip. I still believe that, even though I now own a PC. And even though I survived the Sandy super storm, I still have sores on 2 of my toes from the flood waters.

So yes, I'm scared, because I just lived through a small sample of what God can do to this Earth when and if He chooses to. But I'm also more serious than I ever was about obeying God. Which are you?

In light of your living through Tribulation how does that effect your Eschaetalogical view? Are you a holder of the pre-tribulation rapture theory?

As brother Leonard has stated, a cursory look at scripture will reveal that God is fully capable of protecting and providing for His own, in and through Tribulation. Noah, the Israelites in Egypt, Joseph in slavery and worse, and the three Hebrew youths in Daniel all come to mind.

Okay, first Patriot you're right that these other things you mentioned have to come before the mark of the beast. And to you it seems like these things can't happen very fast. But you weren't here when Sandy struck. I've been living in this area 55 years, and I never saw anything even close to Sandy. What's more, people 20 and 30 years older than me, never saw anything like Sandy. We're still not back to normal. Some people are still living in tents. If storms like Sandy as well as Earthquakes happen so close together that they ravage the globe, all these things can happen very quickly.

However, Joshua is also right. If all true believers started to pray, as in sack cloth and ashes (a modern day version of that) we can probably hold this back. I'm actually convinced that the reason Jesus said no one knows the time He'd be coming back, is because what we do will effect it. Problem is, I don't see people trying to go back to living moral lives.

I'll just focus on 1 thing, because it's one of the biggest and worst sins we have. Sex. When I was a teen and a young man, abortion was illegal, and many of us worried about that a great deal. The result was that casual sex, so common nowadays, almost didn't exist. And I think things were better back then. Porn was also illegal, and very hard to come by. But then, all very quickly, things changed. As a young man who didn't take God seriously, part of me thought it was good, or fun. But another part of me feared where it was leading to. And I was right. It's actually gone beyond where I feared, because I never thought I'd see the day when homosexuality is so common, and so accepted, that a straight person has to apologize for being straight. But I have heard girls apologize, and even guys.

If we want to delay God's judgement of the Earth, all this has to change. And this is just one thing. There are many more.

Im not saying it can or cannot. Im asking you to think through your presentation. Youve made some crazy assertations, and youve been questioned about it. And when asked for evidence of them, you bring forth an article that argues your exact opposite point, and now, your going off topic, instead of answering them. Your initial post, was about RFID chips.

First off, What evidence do you have that RFID chips are about to be implemented in Humans. Not animals, humans.

Question 2. So what. what is so evil about RFID chips. Weve already established that its not the mark of the beast.

Im not asking about sandy. Im not even asking about judgement. Im asking, for some solid evidence behind your initial assertations. Im asking you to think through, your initial assertions. How bad sandy was, is not evidence that were about to implement RFID chips, nor is it evidence about how bad they are.
