So how do you think or know we as Believers should understand Yamim Nora'im (the Ten Days of Awe) or if you prefer Aseret Yemel Teshuvah (the Ten Days of Repentance)? Just asking as we are at time of year. I was also wondering if the following passage might have something to do with this:
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the adversity is going to have some of you thrown into prison, in order to put you to the test; and you will face an ordeal for ten days. Remain faithful, even to the point of death; and I will give you life as your crown.
Just wondering if there might be a connection between these ten days, especially with the Crown of life; to the Ten Days of Awe?
