I agree it's not healthy to be alone, good observation. But what if someone had a chemical imbalance in the brain. Church or religion is not always the answer, sometimes science is the cure.
The cure for what exactly?
Get in line sonny!
I suffer from it, and have been going through a really bad patch of late, others on Worthy suffer from chronic depression. I had, at one time to take meds.
But even in my darkest hours I cling to God, I attend church (I am on the leadership team), I run home groups, prayer meeting, outreaches, support an orphanage, etc). I pray all the time, and not the "sob, sob Jesus help me", type prayer. I worship His holy name and I pray ceaselessly for others.
Go to church, get involved, write music, dance in the street, write poetry, do it while you are depressed, do it when you are happy, do it on happy pills, do it without, do it hungry, do it full, but do it to His glory. David did, and he was the apple of God's eye, a man after God's heart (that's scriptural, and David wrote some of the psalms that we base our worship music on today).
Jump now, pray as you fall, pray before you jump, pray when you land.
