This church has the same problems that the Pharisees and Sadducees had. They hold in high regard the traditions of men over the teachings of Jesus/God. See Mark 7: 1-9 Now when the Pharisees gathered to him, with some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem, 2they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3(For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands properly,a holding to the tradition of the elders, 4and when they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash.b And there are many other traditions that they observe, such as the washing of cups and pots and copper vessels and dining couches.c) 5And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?” 6And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, “‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; 7in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ 8You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.” 9And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! Ikons, the worship of Mary, the sayings of the Elders and rituals obscure and confuse the practice of Christianity as commanded by the teachings of Jesus, the head of the Church.

So sorry, I have not studied Revelation as of yet. It took me 5 years to unpack Daniel and of course, the next logical step might be Revelation. There are so many symbols in Daniel that MUST be interpreted first so they can be applied in Revelation. I do not believe that Daniel has been properly interpreted in any manner whatsoeve which is why I started to study it on my own. If one would take "today's accepted interpretations" on the book of Daniel (from the leading scholars, academics and theologian) that EVERYONE uses as their source material, (and I indeed had done that to try and learn Daniel) i found there was / is absolutely no consensus of opinion on the many difficult verses in Daniel - they are literally all over the board. Consequently, I took THEIR INTERPRETATIONS and without any bias on my part (since I never read Daniel before) I attempted to interpret this unbelievably difficult book). Therefore, if they are using their interpretations to understand Revelation, they can not be right (my opinion).

Yes, this refers to the little horn - the papacy who rejected the God of his fathers... in other words, the Christian church grew exponentially during the first 400 years after the cross, but it also came to be that the Gentile Christians began to take control over the church and remove the presence, any presence of the Jews and the Jewish faith. Essentially, they made the Christian church "in their own image" and failed to honor the laws and words of the OT.

A sure sign of when the Antichrist comes into the open scene of this world is after the two witness come forth: Revelation 11 v 3-13 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.
