Naturally - I'm new here. HI!
The cliff-notes of my journey is that growing up, I had to go to church, but wasn't really taught anything. We did the Joseph and his coat of many colors, Jonah and the whale, and all the other stories kids and teens are typically taught ... but weren't actually taught what they meant. In the end, I didn't understand what Christianity was all about.
Then, I progressed into being agnostic because I was on the fence about it all.
These last few years though ... and on a journey I've been somewhat sharing with my husband (same journey, slightly different paths) ... we're members of a Methodist church and firmly label myself (although I don't like the idea of labeling people period) a Christian ... more so a Disciple of Christ.
I'm very much into learning more deeply the bible than the glossing over most people get at church. I'm reading several different things at once ... just because I can't get enough ... I'm the Bounty papertowels of sponges when it comes to learning LOL. Problem is - I have poor memory recall. hehe
I hope to learn more through you all ... and hopefully share what I have learned.
