God`s Glory Through Israel

 

God`s glory will be upon Israel, on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. It is from here that God`s righteous rulership goes forth to the nations of the world.

`For Zion`s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem`s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory.

You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.` (Isa. 62: 1 - 3)

 

God sets His glory upon Israel in the midst of the nations so that they can learn to walk in His ways and come to worship Him. A new temple will be built upon the site of Solomon`s Temple. The Lord has laid down the exact dimensions and requirements for this holy place in His word. (Ezekiel) Then God`s glory will fill the sanctuary in this new Temple. The Prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of this.
 

`And he brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; so I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord;.....` (Ez. 44: 4)

A special area will be designated as Holy unto the Lord for the sanctuary and for the priests.

`Moreover, when you divide the land by lot into inheritance, you shall set apart a district for the Lord, a holy portion of the land;.....in it shall be the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place. It shall be a holy portion of the land belonging to the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to the Lord; it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.` (Ez. 45: 1, 3 & 4)

 

The area on the Mount is so holy that if a wild animal strayed there then they would not be harmful.

`The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox, the nursing child shall play by the cobra`s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper`s den.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my Holy Mountain...` (Isa. 11: 6 - 9)

now is this what kicks off Armageddon the new temple being built as the mosque would be in the way....apologies ..dont have much of an understanding of events at the mo

Hi mabel,

That`s fine, we all have different giftings and this is my area. The temple described by the Prophet Ezekiel will be built in the Millennium well after the trib, and Armageddon. The temple referred to in the trib, where the A/C gets his image put up is already there. The people of Israel have a temple and it is in King George St.
