REALITY OF THE KINGDOM DWELLER

"For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ" - 1 Corinthians 2:16

This is a cross–reference from Isaiah 40:13 which says: "Who can fathom the Spirit of the LORD, or instruct the LORD as his counselor?" What Paul was trying to say is that along with the domain of the King comes the reality of our mind being merged with His! Under the law, no one could understand the mind of the Lord, but under grace, we have been given His very mind. This is the reality of a Kingdom Dweller. Our mind is no longer a battleground for the enemy, but a concourse for the Holy Ghost.

WE ARE STEWARDS OF THE MYSTERIES

According to 1 Corinthians 4:1, we are stewards of His mysteries! A steward literally means a governor. A kingdom must be in place for us to govern—and that Kingdom is His, and you are a governor of His mysteries on the earth!
That being said, we no longer press in for more of what we don't have but learn all of WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST and OUR RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD which we have been granted through Christ Jesus' Blood!

EMBRACING OUR REDEEMED IDENTITY

This allows us to operate under a domain of freedom that the world has never encountered—the King's domain. A realm of redemption, a realm of redeemed identity, a realm of freedom. A realm of His finished work. We now experience the constant awareness of the realm or domain of Christ's finished work on the Cross and the fruit that proceeds from that awareness. This is the Kingdom! He put us in position to receive His Kingdom while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8).

He built it, now we own it! Learning to own is a journey, yes, but a journey of the renewing of the mind. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." As we are transformed, there is an authority that comes out of a constant awareness of the finished work of Christ. This is Kingdom life.

Yes I have found that in the new testament some of the writers refer back to the old testament when they are explaining the professes coming true and in reference to things that were said that relate to what they are saying.
