Ten Power Exhortations - February 18, 2019

By not speaking, desiring, nor reasoning, we reach the central place of the inward walk -- that place where God speaks to our inward man. It is there that God communicates Himself to our spirit.

"For God alone, my soul waits in silence." - Psalm 62:1

We recall that Jacob wrestled with the Lord all night, until daybreak? THEN it was when the Lord blessed him. We persevere against any and all difficulties which confront us in our seeking the Lord's presence in our spirit. We are steadfast until the Lord gives our spirit His blessing.

AFFIRMATIONS:

As I take one step beyond my own limits, God will give me victory and success as I tap into his mighty power.

As I speak the Word to my spirit, I am strengthened and encouraged by God.

That same Power that raised Jesus from the dead, enables me to rise out of my adverse circumstances and step into the purposes of God for my life.

Start with small amounts of time talking with Jesus. As you get to know Him, you will want to be with Him more and more.

God says to His servant, "You will bring Me glory"(Isaiah 49:1-6). Now, glory is the revelation of God's power and attributes, sometimes accompanied by visible phenomena. Because this is a word for us today, if you quiet your soul and listen carefully, you can hear the Father saying: "You will bring Me glory."

Why did God create you? What is your purpose here on earth? If you have never understood the call of God upon your life, you cannot have an understanding of your full covenant with Him.

Some people think their calling is to sit in church and support someone else's vision.
While it's good to do all you can to encourage someone and support them – each of us has our own CALLING in Christ Jesus. And at the end of the road, Jesus is going to ask you, "What did you do with the anointing I put in your life?"

Matthew 25:25,26,30 - "And I was afraid and went and hid thy talent in the earth...His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant......And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

We get impressions from the Lord but think they are our own imagination, or something else, and don't act on them.

Now we're certainly not chosen, possessed, and holy to do nothing and to live mediocre lives.
Of course not!
We're called to minister in the presence of God, to live an active role in His presence.
Our lives are a priestly service through:
1. Holy intercession, and
2. DISCIPLING new believers into their inheritance in Christ.

1 Peter 2:9 -- "For you have been chosen by God Himself -- you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own -- all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light."

You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living.

Charles Spurgeon once said, "Very few Christians believe in the resurrection." If we really believed in the resurrection in our hearts, our lives would be radically different. We would not be so consumed with the things that are temporary, but rather with the things that are eternal.
