John 10:10 (NIV) - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

John 10:10 gives us a current perspective for a supernatural shift out of a performance mentality and legalistic thinking.
The thief in the garden is the same as the thief that we battle today. When we are engaging in legalism we are referring to believing that we are righteous because of what we do rather than focusing on what Christ accomplished at the Cross.

We know, as Christians, that Jesus Christ became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins – being the Lamb of God crucified. And yet, somehow, we have been deceived into believing that His sacrifice was not enough to make us righteous – as if we have to jump through hoops to keep our salvation which has already been bought through the shed Blood of Christ. (This is where the thief comes into play.)

Godly people are called to bold, daring, fear-overcoming, breathtaking and impossible actions in order to accomplish the vision God has given to them.

"Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple." - Luke 14:27

As Christians, we may often resolve to forgive but secretly hope for justice from the Lord, but Jesus went beyond that. HE DID NOT WANT THE FATHER TO GET EVEN for Him – He even asked the Father to forgive them. That is ultimate forgiveness and ultimate love.

Revelation 22 speaks of the river with the water of life, clear as crystal, that flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb. As it flows, on each side of the river grows a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves are used for medicine to heal the nations.

We truly are anointed sons and daughters of the Living God -- the river of God flows in and through us as Believers to bring forth the advancement of God's Kingdom through the fulfillment of God's PURPOSE FOR OUR LIVES.

Let's pray for the earth to be "filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)

Use your faith to simply believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and the blessings you seek will come after you and overtake you.

"Consider the ROCK from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined" (Isaiah 51:1-2). He is your Father and you are His child! You were His child before the foundations of the earth were laid. You are His, and He has destined you to bring His restoration to the earth.

Stand up – shake off the contrived and distorted image of who you are and what you are capable of – turn and face the heavens and confess, "I AM the righteousness of God in Christ!"
Declare to the atmosphere: "He who gives me justice is near. Who will dare to bring charges against me now? Where are my accusers? Let them appear!"

"See, the Sovereign Lord is on my side! Who will declare me guilty? All my enemies will be destroyed like old clothes that have been eaten by moths!" (Isaiah 50:8-9).

What is your PURPOSE and what are you called, commissioned and equipped to do for our Master and Lord Jesus Christ and His Church?

Job 2:13 - "So they sat down with Job on the ground for seven days and seven nights, and none spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief and pain were very great."

Job's life helped create the awareness for the need of a savior. Job is the question. Jesus is the answer.
If our study of Job (and other Old Testament issues) doesn't lead us to Jesus as the answer, it reveals we never really understood the question. Any understanding we have about the nature of God that can't be seen in the person of Jesus must be questioned.

We can position our hearts to become an open portal to Heaven -- where God infuses us with His presence and revelation abounds -- flowing to us and through us.

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His CALLING...." - Ephesians 1: 17,18

You may be experiencing an urging or intense desire that God is stirring within you -- something you know that you need to step into immediately. Each time we respond to His urging it is one more advancement into our DESTINY.

To set your mind on the higher realm, strategize about how to live in it. Purposely pursue it. Ask the Holy Spirit to anoint your thinking. Keep your mind busy with practical, heavenly thoughts, taking "captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5)

"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- fill all your thoughts with these things." - Philippians 4:8
