Ten Power Exhortations - May 22, 2019

You shouldn't say things about yourself that God says are not true. eg. "I am a work in Progress" (false humility) Colossians 2:18 - "Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement." v.2:13 ..."having forgiven us all our transgressions."
You are giving yourself an excuse to sin occasionally and live short of God's full will for you. By wet-nursing this mindset you disengage yourself from living up to your full potential in Christ. eg. I am an old sinner saved by grace. Colossians 2:10 "And in Him, you have been made complete." You have the power to change things that don't line up with heaven.Romans 6:11 - "Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus."

There is a level of life we can reach where we practice "thanksgiving as a lifestyle" - when difficulty comes along, we have a huge inventory of blessings instantly accessible to bring us into His presence as well as the joy and delight He has over us.

You can disempower the voice of God in your life by having the spirit of fear. So live by your identity that in your new nature you are born to live in the realm of revelation. Put off old ways of thinking -- by putting on the new nature you put on the spirit nature. The power available in the Christ identity in the believer: (1) Power against demonic forces, (2) Power to advance the kingdom on earth, (3) power to equip others to disciple.

Acts 19:11,12 - "God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out."

Choose to lay down all disappointment -- choose to lay down all discouragement -- choose to believe again -- choose to hope again -- choose to expect God's goodness and fiery presence to awaken you afresh.

You cannot retire too much from the mindless chatter of the world. You don't need much time to tell God that you love Him! Lift your heart to Him. Worship Him in the depths of your spirit.

Revelations 3:15 - "I would rather you be hot or cold, but since you are lukewarm I will vomit you out of My mouth."

When we fully immerse ourselves in God's ways, we find everything we need and desire. Lukewarm complacency and not understanding and living in God's purpose for our life rob us of power, love, life, and liberty. The river of God's love and grace is available to everyone who believes. Jesus prepared it for our restoration, healing, and growth. It gives light, life, and supernatural power to everything it touches.

Godly people are called to bold, daring, fear-overcoming, breathtaking and impossible actions in order to accomplish the vision God has given to them.

The Lord will not excuse our pride just because we sing three hymns on Sunday and consider ourselves "saved."
The more we plug into and allow the working of the Holy Spirit, the more we embrace His work, and the more we allow Him liberty in our life to help us UNDERSTAND OUR CALLING IN CHRIST-- these things transform us from glory to glory.

Many believers are captured in a lifestyle that excludes a pervasive God in Their lives - a lifestyle that is unrecognizable from their atheistic neighbors.

Do you know what you were born for? When you are dying, will you know why you lived?
