What is reputation on the forums? Well, it's nothing to do with a person as it is to do with their posts. If you come across a post you enjoy -- on the right side -- you'll see a + or a - -- that is what determines ones' reputation as a poster. Not sure if we'll keep that feature -- but it is another feature nevertheless!

personally i'd like to keep it. unlike the one on the previous version, this one really lets people rate the content of what someone says as opposed to just going and giving brownie points to their friends in profiles.

The only reputation we should be concerned about is the one the Lord has for us. As we are all on equal grounds (no doctors, ministers, preachers etc.), having a "rep" does place one above another. We should allow the Holy Spirit to tell us about a person, not a voting mechanism.

That's my concern, too. People are going to get discouraged if their "reputation" doesn't go up.

Although the reputation in itself is somewhat meaningless because we do not seek the approval of others only of God, I still think it's a valuable tool. Most of the people on Worthy will be good judges of posts and comments. If you're getting approval for something that you have said then it shows that you are on the right lines.

After all, we all need encouragement from time to time.
