(The Spirit of Your Mind)

The spirit of your mind, which is the soul, is not to be confused with the human spirit or the recreated spirit. The spirit of your mind reflects attitudes, desires and feelings which may or may not be in line with God’s will. Examples of sources: other people, Satan, circumstances, scripture.

2 Corinthians 12:18 - "I urged Titus to go, and I sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves IN THE SAME SPIRIT and walk in the same steps?"

(‘in the same spirit’ – attitudes, motives.)

2 Corinthians 11:4 - "For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, OR YOU RECEIVE A DIFFERENT SPIRIT which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully."

(‘or you receive a different spirit’ – through people or Satan or understanding.)

Examples of "Spirit of Your Mind":

2 Corinthians 7:1 - "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, LET US CLEANSE OURSELVES from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Corinthians 4:13 - "But having the same SPIRIT OF FAITH, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak,"

1 Corinthians 2:12 - "Now we have received, not THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,"

2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Affirmations:

I AM RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF MY MIND; AND I PUT ON THE NEW MAN, WHICH WAS CREATED ACCORDING TO GOD, IN TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS.(Ephesians 4:23,24)

WHEN I SPEAK I COMPARE SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH SPIRITUAL.
(1 Corinthians 2:13)

HE THAT IS SPIRITUAL JUDGES ALL THINGS.
(1 Corinthians 2:15)
