Seek God's Direction

This also comes from the Lord of hosts, who is

wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance

Isaiah 28:29

Do you trust God to lead you in a way that is beneficial-a manner

that is absolutely best for you? If you're like a lot of believers, you

say you do, but your actions may tell a different story.

Often we may say we believe the Lord is all-wise and knows

what is best for us, but then we look for advise from people around

us. Our pride or refusal to be open to His plan can bring misery

and regret.

My friend, listen: only one Person has absolute knowledge, and

that is the Lord. And He has promised to provide all the guidance

you need. You can worry, fret, and fume about an issue that God

has already dealt with-and continue to be miserable. But if you

will set your heart to trust Him, He will help you obey Him each

and every time. He will guide you step by step, even when you don't

see His omnipotent hand.

Lord, the next time I start to turn to friends

for direction, stop me! I want to hear from

You first to know my certain path, amen.
