Daily Meditations and Affirmations - 23

Acts 14:22 - "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God".

Just as Israel had to go through a wilderness that was the exact opposite of the land of milk and honey they had been promised in order to get to their inheritance, we too, must do the same.
For many of us, we have experienced a wilderness while fulfilling God's purpose for our life. We feel lonely, barren, and unfruitful. We have been so dry and thirsty that we find ourselves crying out to God in desperation. Our life is in disorder, and at times we are confused and irritated.
God has a purpose for our wilderness -- He does NOT plan for us to stay there!
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt for the purpose of not only proving their hearts, but also to give them an opening to be delivered from a slavery mentality.

John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."
Hebrews 3:1 - "Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly call, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession."

AFFIRMATION:
My confession -- the words I constantly speak day-after-day determine all that I will ever receive from God, whether it's salvation, physical healing, peace, or financial prosperity.

Hebrews 4:15 - "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

PAIN IS NOT MY ENEMY BUT MERELY THE PROOF THAT I HAVE ONE.

Psalm 34:19 - "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all."
