World Rulers - Overview.

OVERVIEW

The world with all its international interplays can look so confusing, yet God`s word tells us that He is directing world governments, in His time frame, to His destination.

I would like to look at how the nations developed, how they ruled & then show God`s time frame for dealing with them. Many people may know the details presented, however I hope to high light a strong line concerning government.  God gives that responsibility to man in early history & then shows us the world rulers & great powers, right up to our time. Thus I hope to bring a greater clarity to what God has purposed.

These are the topics I hope to cover –

1. Formation of the Nations.

2. Israel, God`s Special Nation.

3. God`s Time Frame for the Nations.

Hi mabel,

Glad you were able to get to comment. I`m so pleased that you find it exciting, short & fruitful. Yes I am on a `roll` to highlight how man received authority to govern & then how they actually did rule. Leads us right to today & makes more sense of what is happening, when we realise the big picture. Now this ~World Rulers` series is mainly on history & then I will do the next series, `Countdown...` which will focus on the contemporary world powers.

Actually being a novice can have advantages as you are not `indoctrinated` to a certain view. And you tend to ask the right questions, the common sense ones.

funny that but i switch off to long winded stuff so that has saved me! i have been cautious about what is out there (devils in the detail) as there  is so much out there. it always comes back to the bible in the end.

is it edifying? is what i ask myself when i do have a look at whats on offer i mostly  get information overload. lol. God obviously hasn't gifted me with an academic mind.

Hi mabel,

Yes my father said our mind can only take as much as the `seat` can endure.:D And there is so much error out there as you say. I also keep close to God`s word & that`s great that you do too. A key for me, is - `Does it point to Jesus? Do I learn more of Him or is it all about US.

As to having an academic mind, well the world has an overload of those, whereas I believe it is God`s Holy Spirit that illuminates His word to us.

`Let no one  deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness," & again, " The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile." (1 Cor. 3: 19 & 20)
