The Times of the Nations.

Q. What does `Times of the Nations,` mean?

`Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles (Nations) until the times of the Gentiles (Nations) are fulfilled.` (Luke 21: 24)

Israel is God`s chosen nation to rule the world with Jerusalem as the capital. However Israel turned from God & went into a period of exile & discipline. The Gentile Nations were then given power to rule over the world.

This rulership however, is only for a set time. There is a beginning at ancient Babylon, & there will be an end, at the battle of Armageddon. This battle starts at the top of Israel then the world`s armies come down to surround Jerusalem.

This Set Time Frame is called – the Times of the Gentiles, (Nations).

Times – Gk. `kairos` meaning set or proper time, season, fixed time.

Gentiles – Gk. `ethnos` meaning a race, tribe, people, nation, specifically non-Jewish.

Fulfilled – Gk. `pieroo` meaning to finish a period or task, complete, end.

The nations think they have their destiny in their own hands, but it is God who has set the time frame in place & that is fast coming to an end. The next series, (`Countdown...`) will concentrate on what I see, (& was taught) concerning the contemporary situation in relation to God`s word.
