This is Carrie Underwood. If this is your Idea of a Christian your not a Christian. Btw notice the revealing dress? See anything? Look again......... Her dress is a depiction of Baphomet, The Goat Demon. It's in our face every day, everywhere, these are truly times to be awake. Many so-called Christians that are famous are nothing more than workers of satan trying to deceive people and lure them slowly into apostasy. Here is a thumb rule I use in my daily life - " if it is acceptable to the Masses, or is a cultural norm its not of God. If it seems harmless, it's probably harmful". Without discernment your a sitting duck,

Carrie underwood has some amazing music out there, stuff that I would call uplifting to God. She also has some stuff thats not. But keep in mind shes not a christian artist, she has never claimed to be a christian artist, nor catered to the christian music genre. I would also like to point out, that she does often talk about her faith, but in the end she is a human, in a very secular music scene. Shes not going to be perfect, and is going to be negatively influenced by it. Is it right? no. But on the same note we need to realize that she is as human as the rest of us, and we all do things that if someone were to nitpick-could be taken as non christian. Instead of judging her on her dress (which yes, isnt the most modest, but on the same note, I really dont see any real connection to the goat demon, and if it was, she may not have even realized it-it was likely picked out by her dress designors) and judging her christianity, we should pray for her.

I have seen several entertainers that call themselves "Christian" that I thought what they were wearing was not modest at all. I think sometimes the term "Christian" is used too loosely.

and maybe some people just don't agree with what is modest and what isn't...    Should all women just wear a burka and be done with it.....   that's what Islam teaches for public wear....

Angels,   we have a boat and spend time at the lake....   we also travel a lot for the past 7 years since we retired......     I took the trouble of finding this outfit and seeing the entire picture and I can tell you that this outfit is nothing compared to what we see at the beach that is pretty much accepted by the majority of the people that I know.     Kerry came from a small town here in Oklahoma not far from where we live.....   I knew of her and watched her career as she has gotten more involved.......   she is still a serious believer, and I guess it bothers me knowing that and have people judge her by an outfit she wears on the stage for one production  I'll pm you the last thing I saw her do on stage.

Since when did clothes become more powerful than God?....what a person wears has nothing to do with salvation...God judges the heart she can be half butt naked and say she loves Jesus and he that believth and is baptised shall be saved, just because she half naked does it make it not true? Man is the only one that's paying attention to the flesh cause religion tells you you have to look a certain way dress a certain way. Now being half naked is inappropriate at times but it has nothing to do with her soul Christ didn't die for flesh and clothes.

Scripture tells us:

1) "Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness." (1 Timothy 2:9-10, NASB)

2) " Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this-- not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother's way." (Romans 14:13, NASB)

Scripture tells us that we should conduct ourselves in modesty and not do something that we know could cause a brother or sister in Christ to stumble. While I'm not going to say that women should not wear any sort of flattering clothes, there is a sensible difference between fashionable and provocative. Also, since when is it up to God to do our obeying for us? We are called in scripture to obey Him in the Spirit, and to walk with Him. Popular Christian cultural belief says "God does everything", but that would reduce us to little more than robots. We have a free will, without which love would not be love at all. Love can only exist when freely chosen. If we freely choose to love God, we also need to freely choose to follow Him and obey Him from a heart of love. That includes loving our neighbor and brothers and sisters in Christ enough to want to avoid doing or wearing something that would cause them to stumble.

So who gets to decide what is and what is not appropriate to wear as the central figure in a concert today?  She is showing much less than is shown at most beaches today.  As for the baphomet thing, I personally don't see it without really stretching one's imagination.

The scripture doesn't say don't wear anything that would cause my brother and sister to stumble

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Romans:14:13

It's not saying that......if it's something that is worn to cause somebody to stumble then they was caught up in the flesh to begin with but like I said it has nothing to do with Salvation. All flesh is as grass and it whithers away, and flesh ain't about nothing . It's the heart God judges man by if she say Jesus Christ is the saviour and by no other name can man be saved and she half naked im going to say amen cause he that beliveth not believeth and is fully dressed and hair not braided and not wearing gold and pearls but believeth and is baptised shall be saved

Islam is right....  put all women in public in full burka garments. We wouldn't want to excite some man beyond his capabilities....

This is what the Bible says about modesty.

1 Timothy 2:9-10

This is a command for Christian women to dress modestly not ony at Church but everywhere they are exposed to the public.

It's not a commandment-In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1 Timothy:2:9

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
1 Timothy:2:10

No where does it say its a commandment and like I said it has nothing to do with salvation....You can not not let flesh or clothes take your focus off of Christ. Knowing jesus and not knowing of him is knowing to deny your own flesh and anybody else's why? Cause Jesus didn't die for clothes and flesh. Scripture says what it says but if a stripper say God is good be baptised and ye shall be saved is it not true? Will you not say amen cause you caught up in what she has on or not have on? Gods word is true no matter what you have on. That's part of the reason why some churches are empty people turning away ones in need cause they don't look a certain way, or act a certain way, spending to much time trying to be saved and not just believing in Jesus Christ
