    •  Yes it sure can, and does often, too often.  It is a matter for sorrow and for much prayer is it not? Decades ago I used to have to be called to go to a few of those terrible crash scenes, long before cell phones were even a possibility.  I have been fortunate though  in several accidents, one a single  occupied vehicle wreck being my own fault, to have all survive them to date. Hmm long ago back  phones were analog, had dials and went click click click as the number desired was turning on the dial, none were mobile units, yet we had crashes.  The crash that was my own fault came as I was responding quickly to go to a death scene on a Thanksgiving Day in the rain. Learned death can wait some. I hit a parked commercial plumbers multi ton truck when my windshield fogged  up, and I became one with my steering wheel. The front end of my old Pontiac came to know the firewall too. Happened fast though had only gone but five houses down the road, just passed my young girl friend's house. ( She still married me.)  People have been doing some pretty wild  and rather foolish things while behind the wheel of  vehicles for about a long a there have been roads and vehicles. Rather amazing we don't all die like bugs on a windshield. Hard to be angry - have to be sympathetic, and hopefully defensively smart as we pray one for another on the roads. My new bride just automatically says aloud "somebody is having a bad day", when the emergency sirens start up, or the red lights begin to flash on an emergency vehicle or police car, and she prays prays for all concerned. So anger? Perhaps best to get past anger and be in prayer, maybe skip anger altogether and go straight to prayer. Just a long thought on the subject. I understand anger, but find there are more productive things in my own life. So I try my best to  quickly overcome anger,  and work to avoid it  like a safe driver through life if possible.
    • My mother used to bake a Pumpkin cheesecake... it was actually very good!
    • Hi yesterday Lord has laid upon my heart this important topic about studying and arguing about rapture which i want to share with you . Many people believe that rapture is either pre-tribulation , mid-tribulation , pre-wrath or post tribulation , for this topic i will put aside pre-tribulation and talk about the rest.   All of these points have something in common , that they are in 7th week of Daniel , they either assume that church goes through it half way , somewhere of 3/4 of the way or all the way through. By that i mean , they all can't be true . You would say , wow Amazing Horse that's outstanding conclusion thanks for your 70 iq brain which shared it with us here. I don't know what you talk about but 70 is peferct number for me .   I assume that you guys are much smarter anyways so you can draw a conclusion that if all view points of rapture can't be true , then either one of them is true and the rest is false , or they are all false .   Let's make assumption that one of these three is true but the rest is false . If one of these is true that means most of them are false .   Let's check what Bible say about that . Matthew 7 13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves   Ok so sounds like narrow is the way , so according to my assumption it's true , if one of these three point of views about rapture is true , then 2/3 of them - majority is false.   Now let's quote something else . 2 Peter 1:20-21   20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.   Let's check what is written in Revelation about it .   Revelation 22 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.   Sounds pretty scary . Now is the best part . We always say " poor other people that it will happend to them " . Have you ever wonder if maybe you are wrong and not the other ? By chance you have 66% of being wrong and only 33% of being right .   Few questions here.   To mid-trib What if your mid-tribulation point of view is false ? With every vers that you twist and provide bad interpretation you are adding yourself plagues . Some of them are pretty scary , i remember one when people wanted to die alredy so they stop suffering but they could not die , pretty scary plague . What if you are wrong and you added yourself that plague because rapture is post tribulation or pre-wrath?   To post-tribulation What if you were wrong and rapture is either mid-tribulation or pre-wrath ? According to Revelation 22 God will take away your part in book of life and out of holy city just as you took away mid or pre wrath rapture . For me it sounds pretty scary.   To pre-wrath What if rapture was either mid-trib or post-trib ? You know there are still plenty of plagues left for you to choose from , which one of them have you choose for yourself if you are wrong ?   We know that God can't lie and will keep his promise , why do people act like he won't keep his promise stated in Revelation 22:18-19? Are you 100% sure about your point of view or are you adding yourself plagues written in this book ?   God is not author of confusion as stated in 1 Corinthians 14:33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.   So majority of you are adding themself plagues . Do you really want to know what is true or do you believe that you had yourself some special Revelation and ability to interpret is yourself . Will you take responsibility if  your point of view is wrong  for other people who believed it because you convince them to your point of view ?   Since you read it now you will think about it . I must remind you that before reading this you would have less punishment according to God , but after reading this if you are not 100% sure what Bible say and twist scriptures to set your point of view , you will be beaten not with few but with many stripes .   Luke 12 47And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.   I could answer you what Bible says about rapture but it's not the point of this post . This post is to make you re-think about what you believe , maybe it is true maybe it is not true ? There is greater chance that it is not true .
    • Sounds good, but you forgot the gravy.  No meal is complete without the gravy!!
Yes, you can't eat like that all of the time.  But once a while, like before a long hike or if you are doing to be spending the day doing a lot of heavy labor, these kinds of breakfasts will give you energy.  It's not so bad if you are going to burn off all of those calories.  I would not eat like that and then just sit around.
    • I absolutely Love cheesecake...but..pumpkin..? Now that's different!  I made an Oreo cheesecake the other day, wow I put on weight just looking at it!!
