• I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support President Trump in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures to President Trump. Read our Petition!

    • Well Adam and Eve lived nude and it wasn't until after the biting of the apple that they knew what shame was.  I can see earthly Rulers using nudity to gain control, just as the Devil use the Tree of knowledge to inflict negative feelings and thoughts. It is for humiliation, shaming and to make one feel less worthy. However God tells you come as you are. All afflictions, all classes. . . all period. Job went to God in nakedness. Granted this could have meant spiritually naked, physically naked or both. I doubt that God sees nudity as man does. Especially when he judges based on one's heart.  So man may use nudity as punishment but man is not God.
    • . Php_4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Myself, and every believer ever born, has at some time said something like "Father God, please take this IE -trial-burden-pain-black cloud-torture-etc.  Even the Creator of the universe; Jesus     Mar_14:36  And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.   Some times, no, most times when I get into a spiritual funk,  mental/emotional, like a black cloud just came out of nowhere, and I have to bow my neck and force myself to think of how blessed I am, living  here in this country, worshiping freely with my family, being able to work, walk, see and hear, etc, etc, etc.  I force feed myself mechanically all the "good stuff".  Yes, notsolostsoul, I think of those promises also. I remember how time is slipping away so much faster the older I get, so I try to keep busy. Old age is a privilege, not granted to everyone.  Work is the best narcotic.  And I find out that I'm giving thanks to God so easily now for things I used to take for granted. Especially the little things.  I ask God to use me to be a blessing somehow, somewhere, to somebody. I try NOT to get into what I call MORBID INTROSPECTION, thinking about every thing that's wrong, and why. Nothing but a deep hole. I force myself to think on the good. And though it may start off mechanically, I end up spiritually renewed. It's what work's best for me.  And, stay in the word.

    • "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" out of Philippians 4 is a verse common to all of us - probably for years. It surely is a good thing to put those familiar verse in context.  Philippians 4 in its entirety is an AWESOME passage: so full of insight, encouragement, and enlightenment. Well....that verse comes towards the end of that chapter. First, Paul speaks about contentment that he has learned.  He speaks of this while in prison and after being stoned and left for dead, imprisoned before, beaten to the point of death, shipwrecked and so much more.  HOW could he talk of contentment here? He talked about the peace of God first.  There is no contentment without the peace of God and there is NO worldly thing that can bring about the peace of God - NOTHING.  Then - what brings the peace of God that he talks about before he talks about contentment?  Four things:  (1.) Rejoice.   (2.)  Prayer.   (3.)  Meditating  (4.)  Practicing what you have learned - spiritually speaking.  There is a flow chart, so to speak, before he gets to "I can do all things....." in chapter 4. FIRST:  Rejoice - in my mind, be grateful. SECOND:  Pray.  Not a short, over-in-5-seconds prayer, but go into your prayer closet as Christ speaks about to in Matthew's gospel.  Yes, sometimes a brief prayer can work, is necessary, and is all you have time for. BUT the daily prayer closet is essential. THIRD:  Meditate on good things (like the Word of God).  To do that we must first READ the Word of God.  Daily and coupled with prayer. FOURTH:  Practice what you have learned via prayer and Bible reading and preaching and being grateful.  You can't practice what you have not studied first! FIFTH:  THEN the peace of God that passes all understanding will "be with you". SIXTH:  THEN you will have learned to be "content in all things" - ALL things. Now we are "strengthened" and ready for service! How in the "sam hill" do we think that Christ is going to "strengthen us" to do "all things" if we are not doing the first things it says in that chapter: living with joy and gratitude, praying with the effort it says to, filling our minds with the Word of God, putting into practice what we learn by prayer and Bible study, living in the peace of God, AND exercising contentment in the bad times. These things are HOW he strengthens us, brothers and sisters. We don't namby-pamby and in a spiritually juvenile manner waltz through life expecting Christ to follow behind us like a slave and to pick up the pieces of our messes that we make when we forego and neglect these things or doing the work for us? That's not strengthening someone - that's enabling someone. Christ isn't our enabler. He wants to strengthen us. Philippians chapter 4 is our recipe for that. I know that I am "preaching to the choir" so to speak - but even the "choir" needs the message, too.  Have a blessed day.

Adrian Rogers: "It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error"

"It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error. It is better to speak the truth that hurts and then heals, than falsehood that comforts and then kills. Let me tell you something, friend, it is not love and it is not friendship if we fail to declare the whole counsel of God. It is better to be hated for telling the truth, than to be loved for telling a lie. It is impossible to find anyone in the Bible who was a power for God who did not have enemies and was not hated. It’s better to stand alone with the truth, than to be wrong with a multitude. It is better to ultimately succeed with the truth than to temporarily succeed with a lie. There is only one Gospel and Paul said, ‘If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

Psalm 40:1-3 1 I waited patiently for the Lord;  and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.   2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.   3 He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.   Psalm 31:7, 8 7 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, for You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities,   8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy;  You have set my feet in a wide place.   Psalm 18:19 19 He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.   Psalm 119:105 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.   ******************************************************************************** Proclamation:  According to Isaiah 61, my Lord Jesus is here to heal my broken heart, to proclaim liberty to my captivity, to open the prison door wide wherever I am bound!  I am a planting of the Lord that brings glory to His name!  My soul will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul will be joyful in my God... He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, and He has covered me with the robe of His righteousness.  For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the LORD GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth from me!
