    • The are called kenites. 1Ch 2:55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab. H7017
      קִינִי    קֵינִי
      qêynı̂y    qı̂ynı̂y
      kay-nee', kee-nee'
      Patronymic from H7014; a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin: - Kenite. H7014
      קַיִן
      qayin
      kah'-yin
      The same as H7013 (with a play upon the affinity to H7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Palestine, and of an Oriental tribe: - Cain, Kenite (-s).
    • Gen 3:14  And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
      Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity(hate) between thee(the serpant/satan) and the woman, and between thy seed(serpants seed ) and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Mat 13:37  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
      Mat 13:38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
      Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
      Mat 13:40  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. Who do you think the serpant is?  Its satan,  the devil.   Why do you think Cains (Gen 4)genealogy is different and separate from Abels. (Gen 5) They were twins of different fathers but you have to take it back in the Hebrew.   Gen 4:1  And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
      Gen 4:2  And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. H3254 again
      יָסַף
      yâsaph
      yaw-saf'
      A primitive root; to add or augment (often adverbially to continue to do a thing): -    add, X again, X any more, X cease, X come more, + conceive again, continue, exceed, X further, X gather together, get more, give moreover, X henceforth, increase (more and more), join, X longer (bring, do, make, much, put), X (the, much, yet) more (and more), proceed (further), prolong, put, be [strong-] er, X yet, yield.
    • Unfortunately, no. "So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly.
      For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light." - Luke 16:8 And to show this just compare people who are in Christ and those who are in the world. It is much easier to find people strongly dedicated to their beliefs in the world than it is on the Christian world.
    • Wormwood I have heard said, is supposed to strike the world someplace in the middle-east. Fairly soon. It would be very hot due to the flight thru the earth's atmoshphere.
    • Jesus spoke a lot about the Reward in Heaven. I'd say that among the most discussed issues by Jesus, in the GOSPEL, there are: 1) Reward in Heaven 2) Risk of Hell 3) Importance of prayer (and Lord's prayer) 4) Influence of Satan in this world 5) Jesus divinity and mission 6) Second Coming What are the most discussed topics by Christians today, if we had to write down a list?  As you know, there are countless verses (in the Gospel) for each topic mentioned above, but focusing on the reward in Heaven, the question is: is it still an hot topic in your opinion? Is it often preached by "pastors"? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOURCE Here are some verses in the Gospel (in which Jesus always uses the future tense): "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for
      great is your reward in heaven:" (Jesus on basically almost all the beatitudes, Matthew 5: 1-12, Luke 6:20-26) "It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions." (Matthew 24:46-47) "Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:19) Parable of the talents or minas (Matthew 25,14-30 Luke 19:12,17) "Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father." (Matthew 13:36-43) "However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:20)
