    • If it is 'our' salvation, then no, it is not secure. If it is salvation from the Lord, then yes, it is secure... as salvation is of the Lord Sorry to hear that salvation is dependent on the amount of your faith, rather than the grace found in Jesus Christ.   Are you speaking of our rebirth or sanctification? Our rebirth is a past event, our growth in Christ is ongoing. From beginning to end it is His Work for us and then in us. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
      (Eph 2:5-7)

    • "Are we to believe that as soon as we accept Jesus in our lives that our salvation is secure?" We? Don't know about any we, but me? Yes!
    • The Lord prophesied it to Moses way back at the beginning of their covenant.  He knew they would not keep the law covenant but would pursue their own righteousness (Rom 10:3) which leads to death (2Co_3:7). Deu 31:16  And the LORD said to Moses: "Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them. A matter of fact, God had prophesied their final punishment as harlots under the antichrist all the way back in Deut as well. Deuteronomy 28:49-58  The LORD will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, swooping down like the eagle, a nation whose language you do not understand,  (50)  a hard-faced nation who shall not respect the old or show mercy to the young.  (51)  It shall eat the offspring of your cattle and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; it also shall not leave you grain, wine, or oil, the increase of your herds or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.  (52)  “They shall besiege you in all your towns, until your high and fortified walls, in which you trusted, come down throughout all your land. And they shall besiege you in all your towns throughout all your land, which the LORD your God has given you.  (53)  And you shall eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the LORD your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.  (54)  The man who is the most tender and refined among you will begrudge food to his brother, to the wife he embraces, and to the last of the children whom he has left,  (55)  so that he will not give to any of them any of the flesh of his children whom he is eating, because he has nothing else left, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy shall distress you in all your towns.  (56)  The most tender and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because she is so delicate and tender, will begrudge to the husband she embraces, to her son and to her daughter,  (57)  her afterbirth that comes out from between her feet and her children whom she bears, because lacking everything she will eat them secretly, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy shall distress you in your towns.  (58)  “If you are not careful to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, the LORD your God,   Sound familiar? Ezekiel 38:15-17  You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.  (16)  You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.  (17)  “Thus says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?
    • Not really the Anti-Christ per se, the BEAST had the Mortal wound, and the BEAST'S Mortal wound is what is healed. The Beast has Seven Heads, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia and Greece were the FIVE that had Fallen when John wrote the book of Revelation. Rome was the Head that John stated WAS at the time he lived, of course this Head received the Mortal Wound to the figurative Beast Head. Israel was dispersed all over the world circa 70 AD to 125 AD, thus there could be no Beast. That is why there is a "Mortal Wound" in the Beast that runs from Egypt to Rome, that is why the next Beast jumps forward 2000 some odd years later as the Little Horn. That is why the Statue SKIPS from the Iron legs of Rome to the TEN TOES 2000 years later.  Only when Israel was Reborn could there have been the Last Beast Head or the Seventh Beast Head. Thus the Anti-Christ only becomes the BEAST for 42 Months, once he Conquers Jerusalem/Israel. When the Anti-Christ Conquers Jerusalem/Jews that is when the BEAST comes back alive, figuratively speaking of course. The "Mortal Wound" is healed. Its not an actual wound because the Seven Headed Beast is a figurative Beast sir.  Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns (Not 11 Horns so the Little Horn is one of the Seven Heads), and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard (Greece), and his feet were as the feet of a bear (Persia), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Babylon): and the dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (In Luke ch. 4 Satan told Jesus it was GIVEN HIM to do as he will with, and he does just that with the Kingdoms of the whole World. Paul said Satan is the God of this world.) 3 And I saw one of his (BEASTS HEADS) heads as it were wounded to death (Rome); and his (BEAST not the HEAD) deadly wound was healed (Little Horn or the Anti-Christ Conquers Israel/Jerusalem): and all the world wondered after the beast 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him. 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (42 MONTHS).
    • Jesus spiritualized them all and they are covered in his two....   but his two are much more strict than the ten commandments.   You can follow the ten commandments you whole life and still go to hell....    and when you push the ten commandments you can give people a false sense of security of salvation. Here is two groups of people....   one group going to heaven and one going to hell.     So which of the ten commandments did the group going to hell break?   They broke Jesus's second commandment....   not one of the ten.....    What we are to live by with the second covenant is much stricter than the ten. If you want to partake of the first covenant that would be your right to do, but it will not get you eternal life....    and that's my point of the entire discussion.... promoting the ten commandments is dangerous....   we should be teaching and promoting Jesus's two.   Oddly if you live by those two, you will not even want to break 9 of the ten.....   and in leading the life that Jesus requires us to live, you no longer need the Sabbath for it is a way of life, not some single day of the week

      Just came to a conclusion:
      No one can help me. No one will understand me. Not all will love me.

      Do not trust in anyone, nor expect them to help you. Trust in Him who understands you and is able to help you: The Lord Jesus Christ.

      Till we understand we just have to do what the Lord has taught us. Don't ever think to do otherwise, let alone grant permission to yourself to do different.
      "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand" - Matthew 7:26

      May the Lord bless you, ask Him to give you the ability to love others and to love Him above all things.

      Ephesians 3:17-19
      17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
      18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
      19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

      Revelation 16:10-11 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

      Revelation 9:20-21 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
