    • Shalom, other one. And, this, too, is a fallacy: "Meeting with believers was not commanded to be done on the Shabbat" by the children of Israel in Moses' day nor even in modern Judaism! That wasn't the issue! Anyone could agree with another to meet or study whenever they wished AS LONG AS such a meeting wasn't making them work with extra effort! Also, you must come to realize that God's Instructions (the Torah, what some call "the Law") was NEVER rescinded! It just so happens that for we who are believers Yeshua` HIMSELF kept the Torah FOR US! And, because He did so perfectly, He was able to live a "sinless life" and to die a "sinless death" on our behalf! And, just for the record, Yeshua` DID keep the Shabbat AS HIS FATHER INSTRUCTED, not as the Jews of His time THOUGHT that He should! That's the whole point that Paul was making in Romans 7! Romans 7:6-16
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without (outside) the law sin was dead (i.e., had no "punch").
9 For I was alive without (outside) the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it (the law) is good.
KJV And, also just for the record, Paul did NOT call the Torah "the Law." That's just how the Greek word "nomos" was translated.
    • Daniel's 70th week hasn't started yet. Your teachings are sinister and destructive to those who are young in their knowledge of the gospel and prophecies.  Readers beware! Romans 16:17-18 New King James Version (NKJV) 17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. Acts 20:29 New King James Version (NKJV) 29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Ephesians 5:11 New King James Version (NKJV) 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 2 John 10 New King James Version (NKJV) 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;   At the start of the 1st half of Tribulation, two individuals will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach prophecy, condemn the Antichrist and False Prophet, and perform miracles in the city of Jerusalem. They will be allowed 1260 days (3 ½ years) to do so. The scriptures of Revelation 11: 3-6 outline their work. http://www.arewelivinginthelastdays.com/article/2witnesses/2w.htm   The key to understanding Daniel 9:27 is found in the 1260 day ministry of the Two Witnesses, which takes place in the first half of the seven year tribulation. Leave them out or diminish them and the whole prophetic text of Daniel 9:27 falls apart. http://www.prophecyupdate.com/the-two-witnesses-are-key-where-do-the-two-witnesses-fit-into-daniel-927.html   The ministry of the Two Witnesses takes place during the first half of the Tribulation which is one thousand two hundred and threescore days, (the first 31/2 years of the tribulation period). The identification of the two olive trees and the two candlesticks is found in the Old Testament book of Zechariah. http://www.letusreason.org/Biblexp322.htm   CONCLUSION I believe that a very strong case can be made for the two witnesses exercising their ministry in the first half of the tribulation; not the second half. As noted in the points above, it makes sense that the positive points for this position can easily fit into the first half, while many problems arise when one places them into the last half. It also appears to me that the 144,000 Jewish witnesses of Revelation 7 and 14 belong in the first half as well. This means that the first half of the tribulation is likely the primary time in which hundreds of millions of Gentiles are saved, as well as the majority of the Jewish Remnant. The focus of the second half of the tribulation will be on those who are saved in the first half making it through the second half in order to greet Christ at His return. • The best concise history is "Church History in Plain Lanaguage 4th Edition", by Bruce Shelley.  A nice second tier contender is "Christian History Made Easy," by Timothy Paul Jones.  Stay Away from anything written by Diamand McCulloch, his book The History of the Church: The First Three Thousand Years is full of unbelief; it really should be called an Athiest's Apologetics Book.
    • Really thats what you going with?   ://biblehub.com/text/matthew/24-31.htm   Please note your "heaven" is actually in plural heavens   ouranōn   Case: Genitive
      Gender: Masculine
Number: Plural   If it was singular it would be ouranos   Now what?
    • Anybody can be called anything anywhere, this doesn't mean that they own property such as land.   This prophecy, Jeremiah 10:18, was before Jerusalem's first destruction some 600 years B.C., as Retro pointed out already (see page 2 of this discussion, post No. 7).   The second coming of Jesus Christ, in my opinion, has occured before what is described in Dan 12:2 - only one verse before. However, Dan 12:2 is where many Bible versions I know, among them ESV, cross-refer to Mt 25, one of the chapters in which the second coming of Jesus is described. You can't infer from the land distribution in place after the second coming that it is similar, before, I think. Thomas
