    • Stay far,far away from what your father practices. Very evil stuff. Keep your mind, your heart and your life focused on Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ only. You said that you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ? If you have not asked Jesus Christ into your life and have not repented of your sins then yes, you will go to hell. If you have a daily relationship with Christ and if you are a genuine believer in Jesus Christ you will go to heaven. Keep the full armor of God on at all times you can find this in Ephesians 6:13-17. This will keep Satan and evil away. Pray often and keep God close by your side. God Bless you.
    • Exactly. That is why we who hold to justification by faith alone are still anathema according to Trent...as well as a number of other reasons.
    • I think not. Copy and pasteing canon law from the Council of Trent does not strengthen your case at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasen't the case you were trying to present is that the Catholic Church has changed it's Doctrines? F.Y.I. The Church cannot change its doctrines no matter how badly you may want it to or how loudly you claim it can or has. The doctrines of the Catholic Church are the deposit of faith revealed by Jesus Christ, taught by the apostles, and handed down in their entirety by the apostles to their successors. Since revealed truth cannot change, and since the deposit of faith is comprised of revealed truth, expressed in Scripture and Sacred Tradition, the deposit of faith cannot change. Peace
    • Blessings bittermara       Welcome to Worthy.....no need for apologies,we can move your Thread to the appropriate Forum the only problem is that in reading your OP it is difficult to know whether you are an unbeliever or still a Christian? An unbeliever or guest would post properly in the Outer Court"Need Advice" forum for this Thread.....a Believer would begin this Thread in the Inner Court but that would not be possible because you do not yet have the required # of posts to access the Inner Court     In the Worthy Q & A Forums the OP cannot respond,it is only for posing a question and then we see who has given the best answer sso it is NOT a Forum for discussion........I've sent you a PM(personal message) to help you with your questions about Worthy protocol ,posting etc,,,,,,,you have a little envelope icon near your name, click on that & you can reply to my message and we can talk & can get you going on the Boards .......With love-in Christ,Kwik
    • Well I am sorry that your limited perspective and refusal to acknowledge truth are limiting your discernment here. Again I would prefer taking the entire Word of God into account and lean on God's wisdom regarding things rather than taking one specific instance and promoting it as God. If u dont wish to accept truth, that is your choice; but it nonetheless will remain true with or without man's consent. If I gave you a fresh apple and you preferred to believe it is a rotten orange, that is your decision. However, it will not change the fact that it is indeed still an apple. One must not take scripture as a singular item with one context and application; thereby limiting God and promoting deception rather than the fullness of truth. But its up to you to choose what you believe and on God to judge. Feel free to continue blindly leading the blind if you wish; I will continue teaching and promoting truth in its entirety rather than using single verses as levers to force a flawed perspective upon others.
