    • Well, no one can really force to accept anything against your will.  We are being forced to accommodate it and at least "publicly" accept it.  I will do neither.   I will not accommodate homosexuality because it doesn't deserve accommodation.
    • I am fairly certain I am in the minority here in regards to my eschatology as I am a historic recapitulationist (Amillenial) and it seems the majority view here is futurist so my question is one of understanding addressed to those who hold to the view that there is a separate resurrection of  godly and the ungodly separated by a millennial age, so here is the question: In John 5:28-29 we read these words, John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice  and come forth-- those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.   Jesus speaks of a single hour when everyone who has died will, hear his voice and leave there graves to face the judgement, and he makes it very clear what he means by that phrase all who are in the graves as he qualifies with these two statements,  those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.  How does one who believes that there is period of time between these two resurrections handle this text?
    • Ok so you identify the Philadelphia church as the wise virgin bride Rev 3:10 who has an open door given to her by God as per Matthew 25 the parable of the wise and foolish virgin brides. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.  Which would also be Rosh Hashanah the temple doors being opened and the coming of the messiah.  Now this occurding to you happens in the 6th seal  Now if this is where Rosh Hashanah takes place when does the 10 days of awe take place in your analysis here and then preceeded by the day of atonement? Because accurding to scripture the church of Smyrna must go through 10 days of awe. That would be after the rapture. Remember the door isnt open to them. They are the foolish virgins. When does the church of smyrna recieve their day of atonement accurding to your timeline here? Where and who then is the foolish virgin if its not smyrna? As the doors to heaven are shut? When are the doors of heaven open to them? Again accurding to scripture in Rev 2 Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.   Further the scrolling of the sky is not the sign of Christ.  Jewish tradition holds the biblical stand based on Genesis the rainbow is the sign of the coming messiah. What OT scripture backing do you have the rolling of the sky is the sign of christ? The language is more indicative to God exposing the false gods of the celestrial bodies for what they are. Further concerning the great multitude in heaven, Where is it reported this is the resurrection? The text simply states they "came out"...if one is killed in the name of christ, isnt he technically out of the tribulation? Unless being dead in christ you are still accounted for being in the tribulation?
    • Looking back at your earlier post, you say you think Is 28 talks about the end time because what it prophesies has not been fulfilled in history. Some commentators think the covenant with death was some peace treaty with either Assyria or Egypt to protect Israel in case of attack. If so, this would be history and not future. The commentators may be wrong but why rely on a passage that does not clearly say it is about the end time? Revelation has enough.
    • This is a lot of numbers, and a lot of scriptures.  Can you give us a one paragraph reason why we should investigate what you've written?  Most people will never read a long thread like this.  So give us a good reason why we should?
