    • I don't take offense & I was not making an assumption, I said "I posed the question" it certainly did not seem like a blanket statement....I would much prefer to address it right here & now and clarify any misunderstandings,,,,, No worries, apology accepted BTW,I have zero interactions on the internet or with any type of social media networking,I only come here to this Christian Ministry.,this Blessed Place of I have no past experience with computers or computer lingo,,,,,just so you know a little

    • I can realte... May the dear Lord give you something special to brighten up your life and bring you joy in the storm!
    • Who out there has experienced suicide to have a genuine understanding of the consequences it holds for the survivors (family, friends...)?   I used to think that I had a very keen understanding on the subject.  My mother asked me what I thought about her brother, and others she had known who had committed suicide:  Did God forgive them, or were they in Hell??   I had been studying the very subject for several weeks before this question.  I truly thought that God had prepared me for the answer I would have to tell my dear mother:  "...I'm so sorry, but there is so much scripture that supports the answer being 'No, there is no hope of salvation left for someone who commits suicide...'" About 2 months after this discussion, my brother, my mother's son, committed suicide.   Suddenly, my well-educated, theological conclusion on that subject was reopened for more study...How could it be that all the prayers ever said for this man fell on deaf ears?  Was it a lie that God was truly listening to me? Did every bit of hope, every promise God ever spoke to every heart turn out to be a lie?  My brother received salvation at church camp, as a boy.  Was it all a lie? NO. Not because I really hope it's not, and I want to feel better...but because it is not a lie. There is more scripture that confirms it, and God showed me what I needed to read and understand for my eyes to find sleep, again.  There was so much more than this, but I will hit some highlights. (GOD)  " is my word that goes out from my mouth:  It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it..."  (Isaiah 55:11) Now,  some have argued that blaspheme is the unforgivable sin.   (JESUS)  "...I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemes of men will be forgiven them.  But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."   (Mark 3:28-29) So how does one achieve blaspheme against the Holy Spirit? The understanding I have received tells me that if we pick this apart enough, it would mean a person could blasphemy the Holy Spirit every time they refuse to listen to the instruction of the Holy Spirit, making blaspheme as easily committed as simply not following our conscience. However, in the matter of eternal damnation over blaspheme, I do not believe our God to be that unmerciful. I believe there is a place in space and time where God meets every spirit of those departing to their eternal destiny.  He stands there, giving everyone the same love, mercy, and forgiveness, allowing them to chose the light into Heaven or the dark entrance to Hell. Who is anyone to judge what punishment or reward God's children will receive? (THE PARABLE OF THE WORKERS IN THE VINEYARD)  He hired men in the third, sixth, ninth, eleventh hours, and paid them all the same because HE is generous... "There is no one righteous...all have turned away...""  (Romans 3:9-31) Everyone on planet Earth "waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.  For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of we wait for eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies..."  (Romans 8:18-27) God doesn't take the sick, the broken-hearted, the ones who have found themselves in a position where they have lost all hope and found themselves too low to have anymore foreseeable options, and send them into a place of eternal punishment.   My brother had a terribly hard life from his beginning.  Yes, I could say that he had the same opportunity as everyone else to come to God.  But, really?  Does everyone have the freedom to get to know Christ?  Does everyone face the same demons and trials?  God does not put anything on us more than we can bare.  My brother chose to face God for his decision to die.  Now I have to chose to bare surviving his loss until I see him, again. Maybe you would say that you would never do such a thing, but you would have to have lived the exact same life: same genetic code, and experiences to make that call.  You would have chosen the same, because you would be that person. For my own peace of mind, I have no choice but to thank God for all the trying days I have had and all the ones ahead.  I have come to a much deeper appreciation of God's great love, mercy and power, and the depth of salvation through Jesus reaches everyone in bodily form, or spiritual.
