    • Beloved, Although To Most Folk It May Seem Otherwise So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. Luke 17:10 I Do Think The Believer's Walk With Jesus Christ And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Luke 9:58 Means Riches Beyond Earthly Measure Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 I Am Blessed Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16 ~ Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 Love, Your Brother Joe ~ All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. Psalms 119:160 (New International Version) The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully.  It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents. From The Inside Of My Gideon New Testament
    • Oh TehMill, that so touched me to read that hymn. I`ve never heard of it before. Now Yowm, my first hymn that I remember was `The Old Rugged Cross.` On a hill far away, stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering & shame. But I love that old cross where the dearest & best, For a world of lost sinners was slain.   So I`ll cherish that old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down, I will cling to the ole rugged cross, & exchange it someday for a crown.   (I will finish it if I find the rest of the words, unless someone else knows.)   Marilyn.
    • Shalom Retrobyter. I know that spirit is superior to flesh because it can be; "invisible" to the human eye, a great advantage. It can walk through walls, walk on water, travel great distances, like between heaven and earth in the blink of an eye, communicate with God telepathically, they cannot be killed by men, nor do they get sick, they do not need food and water to survive, nor the sun.  They can appear as whatever they like....did not Satan show himself as a serpent?  Is he really a serpent?  Did not Christ appear as a Rock in the wilderness?  Is he really a rock? So with all the advantages they have, the wicked spirits have that ability to decieve, to tempt, to make things happen for their evil purposes, and with God's angels, are they not ministering spirits?  How does an angel minister?  They ministered to the Lord didn't they?  They also minister to us, for they are around us, sent to protect those who love God, and give guidance to us without us even knowing they are there.  They are all ministering spirits, working for the Lord, and those that left their estate, are ministering for Satan. So how can we even suggest that spirit is inferior to flesh?  They have all those advantages over us to do good or evil, ...to sway us in either direction.  Hebrews 2:7   Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Christ was made a little lower than the angels because he came to us "as flesh", and not as an angel made of spirit.  He had to be flesh, because he had to be sacrificed.  You cannot sacrifice a spirit.  Man cannot kill spirit.  Spirit cannot bleed.  So there's the proof that flesh is indeed inferior to spirit. Hebrews 2:9   But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
    • Wow, that is sad. Im so sorry.   I seriously can not sleep. My mind wont shut off. My ex told me that he made the girls cry. My little girls. 6 and 7 years old. God only knows what he said to them. My ex gave no details whatsoever. So Im left here thinking my little girls are at his house unable to sleep and doubting their faith and crying.  How can he say me teaching them that God loves them is evil, yet take pride in breaking their little hearts. That to me is evil. I know some tolerant atheists that would say if it makes them happy let them have their silly beliefs. But no, he wants them miserable but "corrected".    He is coming over tomorrow, my mind is racing about that too. He wants to have a sit down chat with my husband and I about the girls and our faith. There is so much I want to say and ask him. My husband and I have a 2 year old son. I want to ask my ex if he wants the girls to leave the room when it's time for bible stories or prayers so that it's just Silas that hears. Does he want me to throw away their bibles that they just got and are excited about?  The more i think about it the more my ex is starting to sound like a communist dictator. I held out hope for him because we are actually getting along now, and he started listening to a Christian radio station because there is a political person on it he likes to listen to. My ex is pretty conservative for an atheist.  I should stop complaining because in other countries Christians are facing real persecution,  Im such a wimp. Im complaining about a bully. I just wish the rapture would happen already, I am seriously done with this world.
    • Hi all,
My friends and I made a short video (only 5 minutes). A good many of you would probably already be familiar with the content but I'd still be keen to hear your thoughts on our perspective and perhaps get some good discussion going about the various theories and possibilities. Let me know what you think.
