• I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President-Elect Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support our future President in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures before Mr. Trump takes office. Read our Petition!

    • Why bother when the author has this to say: That’s because evolution has endowed us with cognitive tendencies that, while useful for survival, also make us very receptive to religious concepts. Either God has endowed us with whatever we have, or "evolution" has endowed us.  Well we know that evolution is nonsense, so this writer has nothing to really offer.
    • OK, that's not what the article had anything to do with...it was more about spirituality vs atheism...but OK.
    • Neither are altar calls. Or pastor-centric churches. Or changing the Sabbath from the last day of the week to the first day of the week. Or....
    • Hi Serving One problem with that.  Christ was crucified at week 62. ....and what was the next major event? .....the temple was destroyed in 70AD.  ...here is the 70th week. Israel have no temple since then.  No sanctuary.  No physical sanctuary, and no spiritual one.  It's left desolate since that day, and will remain desolate until the Coming.  All the Jews that didn't acknowledge Christ stayed in Jerusalem, ...they were punished.  All the Jews who did accept Christ, fled because of persecutions.  Their sanctuary now was Christ. All that rebuilding of the 2nd temple came to nothing, but it had to be.  Christ stood in that temple,  Their Messiah came, and they had him crucified. ...but history always repeats.  Now Jerusalem have 70 yrs to serve the King of Babylon along with all all the nations.  The same will end with a flood.  There's always a starting point and a finishing point.  The finishing point in Daniel 9, is the destruction of the temple......that was past. fulfilled.  No more temple.  The same will happen again for this generation of the last 70 yrs.  The starting point 1948.

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

The soldiers of Alexander were reckoned invincible. Why? Was it because they were naturally stronger and more courageous than all their enemies? No, but because they were led by Alexander. Their strength was in his leadership. Under another leader they would often have been defeated. When the Union army was fleeing panic- stricken before the enemy at Winchester, the presence of Sheridan turned their defeat into victory. Without him the men were a quaking mob. With him at their head they were an invincible army. If you had listened to the remarks after the battle of the soldiers who served under those and similar leaders, you would have heard the praises of their general mingled with all their rejoicing. They were strong because he was; they were inspired by the same spirit that he had. Well, our Captain is the Lord of hosts. He has met the chiefest foe of all and has vanquished him single-handed. Those who follow Him invariably go forth conquering and to conquer. Oh, that those who profess to be His followers would put their trust in Him and then, by the repeated victories that they would gain, they would show forth the praises of Him who has called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. John says that he that is born of God overcomes the world, through faith. Faith lays hold of the arm of God and His mighty power does the work. How the power of God can work in a man, accomplishing that which he could not possibly do for himself, no one can tell. It would be as easy to tell how God can give life to the dead Lessons on Faith.  E.J. Waggoner

      John 13:33-35
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
