• I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President-Elect Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support our future President in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures before Mr. Trump takes office. Read our Petition!

    • Greetings seeking the lost: I explained by Scripture, why 1 Thess.4:16 is not a resurrection.  Paul is addressing the [Thessalonian] Church.  Seven years later Jesus is revealing to John, the tribulation martyrs/saints are the FIRST resurrection in Rev.20:4. The tribulation martyrs/saints are the same multitude as those recorded in Rev.7:9-17, who are brought to the Lord by the 144,000 Israelite evangelists, in Rev.7:1-8, God will place on the earth in the absence of the departed Church, as He will do with His two witnesses in Rev.11:3.  They were the ones left behind, when the Church is Caught Up. raptured, to be with the Lord, BEFORE the tribulation begins, as documented symbolically in Rev.4:1-2, confirming 2 Thess.2:3 and 7-8.  As explained in the first, of my two posts covering the Biblical teaching of the pre-trib rapture of the Church, by Jesus, Matthew, Luke, John and Paul. Unless I mistake what you have implied, those who RISE first in 1 Thess.4:16, have nothing at all to do with the FIRST resurrection of the tribulation martyrs/saints, in Rev.20:4.  The two evens are seven years apart, in the first place, in the second place, the Church age ends at the rapture of the Church.  Those who are resurrected in Rev.20:4, do not belong to the Church.  In the third place, Jesus returns to earth from the marriage to the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus , in heaven, WITH His Church, all believers prior to the tribulation, as recorded in Rev.19:7-8 and 24, PRIOR to the FIRST resurrection in Rev.20:4. After Jesus return to the earth, in Rev.19:14, He will establish His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years, according to Rev.20:6, confirming Mt.6:10 among many other passages.  The second resurrection will take place at the end of Jesus 1,000 year reign on earth at the Great White Throne Judgment in Rev.20:11-15, according to Rev.20:5. Every believer who dies before the Lord returns for His Church, left here on earth alive at His coming, in Jn.14:2-3 and 26 and 1 Thess.4:16, is going to return from heaven with Jesus when He comes, as recorded in verse 14.  They are all firstfruits, who each died in his/her own generation, until the major harvest takes place at the pre-trib rapture of the Church.  None of which has a thing to do with any resurrection. I have purposely left out other events that also take place in between these relevant events, because they are irrelevant. What Paul meant in 1 Thess.4:6, by the dead in Christ rising first, was the fourth of his assurances to the Thessalonians, that their dead in Christ would not miss the rapture of the Church he had been teaching them about, beginning in 1 Thess.4:13, in 14 he explains why, mentions it again in 15 and ends it in 16.   God Bless!   Quasar93
    • Greetings Sister, and how are you today? , I have decided to take out about: Being drunk in the spirit, I had looked into and found some none scripture background. And I had replaced it with a new scripture reference in the beginning of the OP.
    • Has more to do with intent. Living by the sword has more to do with living violently, of using guns to rob, steal, or murder for the highest bidder like in the case of a mercenary.
    • There are some Druid customs that have been added to the secular celebration, but Christmas did not come  from Druidism.  I am thinking of the mistletoe tradition as one of them.  It was believed by the Druids to be an aphrodisiac. I think we need to be careful to separate pagan winter customs from Christmas.  The fact that some pagan customs have infiltrated the secular aspects of Christmas doesn't make Christmas pagan or having it roots in paganism.
    • I don't understand why folks who are under the Law and all the OT ordinances and feast observances don't still do animal sacrifices????  Or is that the only part (they feel) that Christ fulfilled... ?  Did He not fulfill it all?  Everything in the OT pointed to Christ... even the sabbath .... now, we enter into HIS rest... we live in the sabbath, resting from our works.... resting in His work on the cross... "It is finished.... "  ... His words.   Galatians 2:14-20 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

      Luke 12:33, 34
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

      MiGod hears my cries
I left my sibling with my dad the other night and I just wailed in the van like I wailed when my husband passed. I was praising God out loud even though it's a tough situation to be in, with a dying parent and no one in the family to turn to for support but God.
I'm at peace with whatever God has chosen for my dad. A guild vessel or a bad vessel, it's all for His glory.
Dad was given glucose that should have worked in 15 mins to perk him up, it took 12 hours. My sister says he's up in bed, he's fine! I went to have lunch with him, he sipped a few sips of water then drank all his milk, a couple of teaspoons of pork and posting and he was down again in bed.
I did put his dentures in, he's still mumbling but I ask yes or no questions to make it easier. Then.... And I know I missed my hubby doing this to me....I scratchef my dad's back until he fell asleep.
This man who was once a baby, a child, a teen and a young married adult is now needing our help as an old man with us stranding to his needs like a baby.
I enjoy stroking his hair... When did he go all white? He had a partial denture, when did he get a full top chopper, I don't know.
He has keratoses pilaris, he has itchy skin as his skin doesn't exfoliate normally, I have it as well as my daughter.
It's called chicken skin, I just called it pimples that never popped but no one understood why my pimples itched... I thank God my daughter doesn't itch as Granpa and I have scars from itching.
I'm going to bring my homemade shea and coconut lotion to slather on his back.
Thank You Lord for another day with my dad.
