  4. A true Man of God would not have said those things. Clearly he was trying to pull a fast one. What he said reminds me of how cult leaders talk. If you encounter, him again or anyone like him, be quick to show him the door.

  6. With complete love -- you are SHOWING OFF! Do you think the rest of us do not battle "spirits"? So, you've "seen Satan him self with my own eyes not in a dream ..." -- WOW! I am just soooooooo impressed and so in awe of your spiritual experience! Please! Showing off. Pride. Self aggrandizement. The inward chemical passions of your brain, mind and flesh are feeding on your own thoughts. "The evil spirits have at the time stopped me from praying ..." <-- hogwash! No "evil spirit" has the power to stop ANY child of God from praying! YOU stop you from praying. You are feeding your passions and the lusts of your mind and flesh on such thoughts. And now you have come here to spread yourself out for all to see and hoping someone will go, "Gee brother! Wow! What a GRAND Spiritual Combat you are in! God bless you brother!" Repent of the PRIDE and addiction you have to your own thoughts, emotions and passions!

  9. I see that Butero beat me to the correct answer. The problem I seem to run into the most in discussions about Hell is the definition. So many think the Lake of Fi9re, a.k.a. the Abyss is Hell and it just ain´t so. (Being Texas born I love that word.) Iĺl not elaborate ecause Butero already covered the ground.

  12. Mary is not "sinless" as the RCC believes. These Scriptures have already been mentioned with Mary rejoicing in God her Saviour, emphasis mine: Luke 1:46-49 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. -Mary is not a "perpetual virgin" as the RCC believe, Jesus Christ had "half brothers and half sisters," having the same mother "Mary." Mat 13:55-56 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? -Mary offered the atoning sin sacrifice of "two turtledoves." Luke 2:19-24 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. She was obedient here, fulfilling the law required by her in Leviticus 12. -Mary, does not hear our vain repetitious prayers, (Hail Mary) nor does any "saint." Our prayers are ONLY heard through One Mediator, the SINLESS Lord Jesus Christ: Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 1 Timothy 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. -Thank God however, she was favored and brought forth the Saviour of the world, Jesus Christ! Luke 1:30-33 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

  13. That is one horrid translation. The word 'ra' means evil, not 'bad times'. Furthermore, the use of the preceding word 'bara' means to create from nothing (as opposed to 'asah' which means to create from that which is available already). This weak translation is typical of those who refuse to believe that God can create evil. They don't want to face facts, so they change the entire meaning of the verse by mistranslating a word. Just because God creates a principle does not make him the author of evil deeds. There are instances in the OT where God actually sends evil spirits to do his bidding. The excuses that people will come up with to try to skate around the sovereignty of God are absolutely ridiculous. It means 'calamity', and is the perfect translation for what God is saying. Actually the KJV rendering is horrid and leads people to make the erroneous assumption that God is the author of evil. Why you would argue for that position leaves me cold. Brrrr. ra‛ râ‛âh rah, raw-aw' From H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (naturally or morally). This includes the second (feminine) form; as adjective or noun: - adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief, (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-st) wretchedness, wrong. [including feminine ra’ah; as adjective or noun.] To create evil as a principle is not the same as evil deeds. ALL things were created by God through Christ, this we know. Since evil is a thing, it too must have been created by God through Christ. We know that God cannot DO evil. That doesn't mean that He could not create a being with the potential FOR evil. We know He can because Romans 9 tell us so. They are called vessels of dishonor.

  15. Being anti-KJV-only is not being anti-KJV. We are not hostile to the KJV and appreciate it. We are not guilty of bibliolatry by exalting an imperfect translation as perfect. It is fair game to criticize weakness and error in KJV, just as KJV-only is wrongly hostile to any other version. Our hostility is to a simplistic, arrogant, ignorant position, not the Word of God as represented in the good, but not best, KJV.

  17. There is no if, it is the truth, brother. He is The Giver of life and its Taker. He sets the time of our birth and the time of our death. Allah takes life of any creature He wants at any time He wills. He is Its Giver and He is Its Taker and no one dares to juge Him. Allah takes the life of fetus and babies not a punishment from them as death is not punishment, it is from His mercy to cause them die pure before committing any sin and in the after life their residence is Paradise. Who suffers from the death of fetus? Fetus or their parents and family? Their death is a test and lesson to the parents to see how they are patient and how they ask Him to compensate them and will they say "We are Allah's and to Him is our return". Life is a big test, who will pass? Allah does NOTHING. Almighty God is the Creator and Giver of Life, and His Name is not Allah. Almighty God is a Holy Trinity: 1 - God The Father, 2 - God The Son (Jesus Christ), 3 - God The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) - yet the Three are One - Eternal. The Godhead - Also Known As The Holy Trinity God The Father - 1st Person Of The Holy Trinity God The Son (Jesus Christ, The Word) - 2nd Person Of The Holy Trinity God The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) - 3rd Person Of The Holy Trinity Three Unique Personages Of God - Yet One John 1:1-3 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:1-3 AMP IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [isa. 9:6.] 2 He was present originally with God. 3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. __________ John 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 AMP And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. [isa. 40:5.] __________ John 14:6-7 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:6-7 AMP Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. 7 If you had known Me [had learned to recognize Me], you would also have known My Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him. __________ Philippians 2:5-11 KJV Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11 AMP Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] 6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, 7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. 8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! 9 Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, 10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. __________ 1 John 5:7 KJV For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7 AMP So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One; __________ Jesus Christ was and is God - One with God The Father and God The Holy Spirit. The Godhead (Holy Trinity) is Eternal with no beginning and no ending. The Godhead (Holy Trinity) is the Creator - not the created. This is an unquestioned fact stated many ways in the Holy Bible - God's Word. The only way to dispute this basic Bible Fact is to use a book other than the Holy Bible. Those who do reject God and are unbelievers. Further, God rejects them. __________ Matthew 10:32-33 KJV Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33 AMP Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him. 33 But whoever denies and disowns Me before men, I also will deny and disown him before My Father Who is in heaven.

  18. Malachi is also a book that calls fathers to step up to the plate as the spiritual leaders in their homes. "Turning their hearts to their children" at its core is being intentional about the spiritual growth each child needs. Few men today give much attention to this issue. Very few have seen a good example. What would the impact be on our homes, churches and nation if men would begin to read God's Word with their families? Amos 8:11 talks about the Lord sending a famine to the land that would be "a famine of the hearing of the words of the Lord." That is a picture of most homes in America today, even Christian homes. Men expect driving their families to church to be enough. Rise Up: For Men Who Want to Lead Boldly is a new book published by Eternal Matters that tackles this topic head on. www.RiseUpDad.com The last words of Malachi are haunting... "or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." May the men in the church rise up and humbly, lovingly lead their homes, taking each member of their families back to the feet of Jesus.
