  1. When One Truly Speaks But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 1 Samuel 8:6-7 The Word Of God And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words, Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there: Jeremiah 43:1-2

  2. I guess if u are going to keep part of the law you might as well keep all of the law. Otherwise, why even bother I don't think it makes sense to state part of something and state well God said that, so don't do it, then go out and eat a pork chop That being said, no tattoo for me...never did and never will...my personal opinion is that it is not wise to copy what the world considers the latest thing and 'Christianize' it...I think that does not necessarily make sense or a good witness I am expressing my opinion so kindly do not serve me up hard to swallow verses with a side of 'scripture' gravy... fine print: considering what scripture actually does state, if I did want one, I would probably not get one unless I sat down with myself and found scriptures that I thought might back up my own desires hope that was clear..........

  3. I also thank God for our Prime Minister and his stand on Israel. There is a startling change coming and it is time the "Christian Community" stood up. A Catholic Board because they took public money for their high schools are now providing carpeted prayer rooms for the Muslim students. Let's see how long before the "Christians" demand a right to pray in the public schools.

  4. The problem stems that it is part of the fig tree. Man working to defeat the curse rather than bow the knee in obedience. Medicine should never be a way of life but it has to be because people will not walk with God. Gary Are you saying we should not use doctors or medicine and rely on Faith alone?

  6. Rock a bye baby was a satyrical song about the royal family ... " top of the tree " refers to royalty ..when the bough breaks is a reference to when an alliance that was made to keep an infant child on the throne was broken the whole royal line would fall popping the weasel is a slang term for pawning something ... the whole song is about feckless men going to all the pups *( back and for the mulberry bush in and out of the eagle half a pound of tuppeny rice , half a pound of treacle ...reference to drinks .. thats the way the money goes ...poop goes the weasle ( pawn something to get money ) and prov..you cant steal last tis way

  8. I understand that keeping the sabboth is the only commandment not repeated in the New Testament. On the other hand, probably that is one that was meant only for Judism, as it is one of the things connected with the Mosaic covenant along with circumcision. But we are Christians and under the new covenant. Galatians 2:16, 3:1-3 & 10-13, 5:4-6 are all very hard on those who would return to trying to keep the law , even saying they are cursed and fallen from grace! So I really don't think it matters what day that you worship on but that you not become entanged in legalism. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Sabboth. When we enter into His rest we cease from our own good works and stuggles to keep the law and rest in Christ's completed work. He kept the law perfectly and shed His blood so that we can enter heaven. Some peoples jobs keep them from worshipping on Sunday so they worship on Saturday night or Wednesday night. I celebrate the resurrection on Sunday, the first day of the week, as well as Wednesday, and less formally all week . That does not make me any more or less spiritual.

  9. to "lose" something means it happens unintentionally against our will. to be snatched (out of God's hand) means it happens unintentionally and against our will. one can't LOSE their salvation, but they can certainly choose to throw it away in favor of living to please themselves.

  10. Agreed, which makes the adoration this man is getting--especially from Christians--so incredible. I mean, he's for government-sanctioned perverted sex; he's for abortion from conception through birth; his economic and foreign policies are horrendous, and people don't seem to care, because he's glib, cute, and has a winning smile. I could be way off on this, but I think there's something deeper at work here, a deception that goes back as far as time. It's almost as if a darkness has spilled across the land, and there's a bill about to be paid. My own opinion, of course, but I can't shake the feeling.

  11. Doubling down on comments like this is going to lose him the election. He should start saying smart things instead. Insulting your voting blocks is not a good way to win.
