  1. Eh I dont like it. I think it diminishes the bible a bit by turning it into another gimmicky bible.

  2. Its not up to the leadership of the church to decide how much and how often. Only the giver is responsable for this. 2 Corithians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

  3. I don't mind him pushing for illegals and to help to solve the problem. It's obviously a huge problem and it starts with stopping the flood of illegals into the Nation and securing the border. I do have a huge problem with him signing on for the death knell of the Conservative movement and being used as a shill for the Left by ushering in the Nationalizing of millions of illegals who will vote solely for the Leftist's who gave them citizenship and all the goodies that go along with it. Trying to curry favor with the Hispanic community like Rubio is trying to do with this issue is just plain stupid. They will not vote for him for doing that. Meanwhile the Left will lie now and then stab us in the back later. They will never secure the Border even though they say that will come later. Hispanics want what every other American wants. Security, Jobs, and Liberty. Why not focus on that? He's shown to me that he's just another Republocrat and an empty suit that doesn't hold firm to his convictions, but panders to get votes. I'm tired of guy's like that. They won't win the respect of those they are pandering to anyway and they definately will never win the respect of the Left. They are laughing behind his back.

  4. Rubio is very pro illegal so all the pushing he has done for this bill is not unexpected at all.

  5. Well not everything. Homosexuality isn't apparently. So if you're a sexual pervert - that's fine, you're normal. But please stay away from Starbucks otherwise you're a deviant!

  6. Because I have found trading in proof-texts to be ridiculous and unhelpful! Its basically at the level of playground arguments. Not for mature Christians. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interesting. I hear that a lot it seems from those who disagree with Scripture - "You're just proof texting..." So do mature Christians not discuss Scripture but instead just gloss over it? What is our standard if not Scripture? What about looking at Scripture in context then? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mature Christians discuss issues in an open-minded way in the light of the whole tenor of Scripture; they don't trade proof-texts trying to prove "they are right", that's for the playground.
