  1. People who are Christian and are being rebellious and doing wrong when they know it is against God are in big trouble in my opinion.

  2. I began developing a disgust with sitcoms when I began paying attention to how much of the humor is about cutting down others. I remember a time long ago when I was in a situation where I was hurt by someone - a teenager with a stupid crush on a guy, and he comes back from college with his girlfriend. We were at a convention, and I was assigned to room with her (!). I was hurt and angry, but as a Christian I knew I needed to love those that hurt me. So I cried to the Lord, for I did not even know how to love. I searched anywhere in my memory for any example I could think of that would offer something that could help me, but all that surfaced was memories of things I'd seen on TV and movies where the offended person chose the path of revenge or bitterness or what-have-you. It drove me crazy! But the solution came with one thought - "Do the opposite of what you have seen." The point here, it isn't just the "juicy" sins - i.e. adultery, murder - it's the little things, "the little foxes that ruin the vineyard" - envy, jealousy, greed, slander, put-downs, insults, white lies, and other such . . . crud . . . that we keep feeding into our souls. Now I'm not saying that good lessons are not learned from these shows. But look at what you have to wade through to get there.

  3. Are you the tax collector or the Pharisee? Luk 18:9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: Luk 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. Luk 18:11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. Luk 18:12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.' Luk 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted." ....me lately I like to look at what Paul said about his sin - 1Ti 1:12 I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, 1Ti 1:13 though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 1Ti 1:14 and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 1Ti 1:15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 1Ti 1:16 But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life..... -- See Paul, even though a man filled with the love of Christ ....knew that his sins were the same as any other mans....in verse 15 he says : I am the foremost - meaning I am the chief of sinners.... He hoped that others would see that regardless of his past as a great sinner and persecutor of Christians that others would see that if God could forgive him....that he could YOU too! - Paul had hoped that people could see that even though the best of us sin still - that it does not change what Christ did for us, that it does not change the message given by a man ( for even the best will still sin) - Christ died on the cross to free us of our sins...not give a license to sin continually, but to know we are still of the flesh, we still sin at times when we know better, or may not even want to do what we do. Paul says in Romans - -- Rom 7:15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Rom 7:16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. Rom 7:17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. Rom 7:18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out Paul says I AM A SINNER! - I am only saved through the MERCY of Christ - I cannot do what I desire for I cannot do it alone - I can only do things with the Lord giving me the strength to do so - Paul says in 2 Corinthians - 2Co 12:7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 2Co 12:8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 2Co 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Folks, it comes down to this - we can't cast out the message because of the messenger - we are ALL sinners - none better than the other - none worse - We are only free from these sins through the Grace, Love and Mercy of Jesus Christ. -- Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Joh 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Joh 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. -- Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  4. Genuine question - I do not want to start an argument, or even debate for its sole sake, but to truly understand: Why are there so many denominations in the Christian faith, when in our faith we should be unified in Christ and not in the teachings/traditions of men, where one group believe they hold more/all truth compared to all the others - knowing that our faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Word are the centre that holds us together? I truly hope I don't open a can of worms here, and if I don't receive any replies I'll understand. I just really want to know.

  6. John 3:16-21: "16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God." Here I am, a man who is guilty of gross sin before God. I cannot understand how or why God would still choose to love me. I don't know why a cur has any place in His sheepfold. May God be praised and blessed in every nation, just, thank you, Jesus.

  7. I do believe that God is more concerned with our condition than our comfort, and the more important thing to Him would be our eternal joy rather than our temporary happiness. If our condition is self, flesh and spiritual slumber, then how can we truly enjoy His life, which he gives in abundance? Our present responses to our present circumstances will affect our growth in Christ, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. God is after our joy, definitely. He inhabits the praises of His people. And in His presence there is fullness of joy. So praise Him. Let's be filled with His joy, because as much as we delight in Him, He delights in us all the more. Praise God! God bless you, and give you His eternal joy...

  8. I will only address the conclusion of this premise considering it reveals it's fallacy. No one is sent to the LOF until after the Millennial Reign when satan is released, gathers followers, and is defeated/judged. Rev 20:2-3 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. (3) He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. Rev 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison Rev 20:13-15 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. (14) Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. (15) Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. The LOF is the final resting place of the wicked and isn't used until after the Millennial Reign. This is why Jesus uses aionios with the intention of eternal consequences for both the wicked and the righteous. We are still waiting upon scripture which shows anyone exiting the LOF. Considering this is quite a vital piece of information, and you prefer a hyper literal approach to interpreting scripture, can you present this scripture please.

  9. I got you there and I agree. I've struggled with smoking for over a decade now and have a similar feeling about it. I haven't been convicted by it in terms of it being sinful for me (maybe I will?), but I know it's just generally a dumb thing to do. thanks. I gave up over a year ago, overnight, after one prayer. I am still amazed at the awesome God we serve. All i said was "Jesus I want to give up smoking and i can't do it by myself, I need you to to help me" and He did. I smoked for 40 years until that Saturday night, never touched one again from the Sunday morning. No craving. coughing, eating, nothing. Just clear lungs and no craving. I wish i could tell people about my struggle to give up, but there wasn't one. I can tell them about Jesus though! I never quit because I thought it was a sin. I did it because I was looking at stuff in my life that did not honor God, or for that matter my wife, who has never smoked. It was something , among others, I had to get out of the way. That's pretty cool fez and what a nice burden to be free of. I haven't smoked in a couple weeks now, but really for the past few years it has tended to go from not smoking for a few months and then in the face of stress to moderate to light smoking so I figure I will not advertise myself as 'done' until I manage to stick with it for at least over a year. Perhaps I will pray about sticking to it also.

  11. Hi alpha. I was talking more in generalities than specifics. Some folks would use the numbers to imply things. Not that you were guilty of doing such things, but more in terms of "food for thought" for other times when such issue are raised. (I've seen atheists quote figures to give stereotypical depictions etc.). but again, no worries. and take care.

  12. Where there is truth to the 'faith vs science' understanding is in the numbers though. The number of believers among scientists (say PhDs) who, say, believe in a literal resurrection of Jesus etc.,are very few as compared to the wider population. In fact, the difference is quite startling. Further there is something of an anti religious bias in the scientific community. Why hat is true though is another question. True enough. But I would point out that does substantially change the conversation in the area of discussion and debate. If were talking just about numbers then I could bring up logical fallacies like argumentum ad populum. Which some folks think only theists use.... And also as you alluded to their is the nature of universities themselves. On the issue of politics univesities have been far from neutral on politics (had a thread months ago on the following link). And I would naturally have to assume that sort of thing carries over to other areas since people usually are not compartmentalized in their behavior and personality. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/aug/1/liberal-majority-on-campus-yes-were-biased/ So anyway I'm not impressed by the demographics. When journalists, and academics take that side then many people will side with them simply because it looks like the reasonable side based on appearance. Argument ad populum how so? I am pointing out the fact that in practice there is some 'faith vs science' actually being practiced. It would only be an ad populum fallacy if I tried to appeal to the large majority of scientists not being believers as evidence that believing is wrong, or something along those lines. But it is entirely appropriate to bring it up if my point is to discuss how in practice there is a bias against religious belief in scientific circles (and potentially vice versa also, but obviously I would need to explore another statistic for that). I don't know what 'being impressed' or not by the demographics has to do with the point I made.

  15. God could use the Jehovah's Witness Bible if he wants to, as I have already acknowledged. That still doesn't make it the ideal translation. If John 3:16 is as deep as someone wants to go, I suppose the NIV is ok, but even here there is an error. The KJV Bible correctly says that those who believe "should not perish," while the NIV incorrectly says, "shall not perish." Big difference. They can't both be right? That brings us back to the whole unreliability of translation issue and more confusion. Brother, we all start somewhere and, as you agree. Truth is truth no matter where it is found. Neither the KJV or the NIV state what the Greek states. The Greek said "may-be-having life eonian.". The issues is how to translate eche into today's language. Th TR places it accordingly: G2192 echo ekh'-o, including an alternate form scheo skheh'-o; (used in certain tenses only) a primary verb; to hold (used in very various applications, literally or figuratively, direct or remote; such as possession; ability, contiuity, relation, or condition). KJV: be (able, X hold, possessed with), accompany, + begin to amend, can(+ -not), X conceive, count, diseased, do + eat, + enjoy, + fear, following, have, hold, keep, + lack, + go to law, lie, + must needs, + of necessity, + need, next, + recover, + reign, + rest, + return, X sick, take for, + tremble, + uncircumcised, use. What is strange is the the NIV, when using the Critical Text method, also uses the same word eche, but have decided to used the word to shall have, which I agree, are not the same words, but understanding the basis of each word, they are very similar. May is used to express "a possibility", while shall is used also to indicate "plan to, intend to, or expect to". Why argue which word is used when the Holy Spirit can use either to provide the truth? I guess I just care about getting it exactly right, rather than close? Some people are ok with close. When I was Pastor of a denominational church, I remember them going through sections of the manual, and discussing minor word changes. Simply changing "shall" to "should" completely changed the way the churches operate. If you say for instance that a deacon "shall" only serve 2 terms, that is definate, but if it says, "should", that leaves wiggle room. They explained how words have meaning. I have also heard Rush Limbaugh make that point more than once, and it is true. That is impossible while living this life. It is like a dog chasing his short tail, always seeking, never finding. No it isn't. My KJV Bible gets it exactly right, and I don't go around claiming that it is full of errors so I don't have to follow it. I also don't go around Bible shopping for a translation that says exactly what I want rather than what is correct. The original manuscripts are what is infallible, not the translations. You want to hold that the KJV is 100% perfect, that is your conviction. I realize that man makes mistakes and the main reason why we need the Holy Spirit to teach us. If any translation is perfect, He would not need to teach us, for the real truth would be in the words themselves. This will not be allowed to turn into a KJV only thread. This thread is asking about the NIV and what some see as errors in the translation.

  19. You have to step out in your faith and you WILL experience Him - by following His commandments, He will abide in you and you in Him. You actually have to put it into practice. When you put into practice what He said and did- you experience Him. You are walking His footsteps, you are living the life He led - you get to know Him and what He's like. There's a part YOU need to play in this relationship too - otherwise it will be a fruitless relationship.

  24. Blessings to everyone, I see much opinion about a person that none of us know.....although out of her own mouth she seems to be trying to defend her actions(sin)to others by her statement that she believes she is forgiven for her lifestyle....obviously she knows that she is continually sinning ,however we still cannot know her heart.I have never even met this person and if I did ,of course,I would try to help her ... None of us know what her heart is saying ,none of us know although she is seeking the approval of man that she doesn't lie awake at night saying",Lord...what do I do?I do not know how to change my ways,I don't want to change my ways but I cannot stand the guilt".....and yet she still struggles with one knee bent but the other just can't make it to the floor. I only say these things because I lived it....I looked and sounded like I had no remorse but I was dying inside.....thank God my brothers & sisters loved me and ministered to me without jugdement....Glory to God that He forgave me while I was yet in sin and was my patient, loving and gracious Savior that kept tugging at my heart as I continued to sin ....whispering softly,"You are worth so much more,I love you....come nearer" With love,in Christ-Kwik

Look at the two million bikers that showed up in DC on 911, someone did not want the whole of the US to know that they are trying to start a revolution...they banned it from the airways...they even blocked the public traffic cams so it would be kept hush hush...it never really made the news...but all the crazy antic of our tv stars make the news all the time. 26. When this state voted against gay marriage the first time, some activists from California announced that it will take more desensitizing. Since then there has been at least one person on each series who came out of the closet. More gay necking and holding hands in pubic, more gay pride publicity, and more people on shows sympathizing that gay people deserve happiness, too. You would have thought that the whole industry required gay people to be represented as a normal and a common segment of society. To me to agree with that is to condone sin. On a personal level, there are some gay people that I like and some are obnoxious like most anyone else. But on a moral level it is an abomination to the Lord. And the idea that someone is trying to brainwash me to accept a loathsome sin puts me in combat mode. Had the turkey from SanFrancisco not made the announcement I wouldn't have such a burr under my sadle. The worst part of it all is that it worked. That tells me that the media can twist morality to suit itself and cause the public to endorse any atrocity.

  27. Learning is a process. We first have to learn to roll over and become upright on our hands and knees before we learn to crawl. Then from crawling, we learn to stand up on two feet. Then comes balance before we can take the first step. If God told you the final answer without learning the process, it would not make any sense.

  28. Many years ago now, when I first came back to Christ, my husbands old Aunt said something to me that always stuck. She said "I will never read! listen to! or watch anything that doesn't have to do with my spiritual growth in Christ". When she died, in her 80s, her eulogy was all about the proverbs 31 woman...and how her life so well lived out Proverbs 31. The Proverbs 31 woman has always been something that I have embraced in my own life, on a daily basis. I have not perfected it by any means, but strive to be more and more what she was as I grow. For years, proverbs 31 was my devotional every morning. Total surrender to Christ, to husband and to family...she blessed everyone she met. It starts with what you allow in your life. It starts with what you don't allow. And I think we need to set higher expectations

  29. I believe you have convoluted the simple message. It is my understanding a believer never willfully continues in sin, but has an aversion to sin. Kind of like the idea of the new man and the new nature... As soon as a believer sins, he is confronted by Holy Spirit within, and is aware of the battleground he has just stepped on. Editing by moderator has made a statement of mine appear to be a flimsy idea. It is not "kind of like the idea of" anything. It is definitively the truth that a new believer has a put on a new nature---that of Jesus Christ, one that is opposed to sin.

  30. Blessings conservator and Worthy family! What I would say is we are all a process of repentance....only God knows the heart and she is accountable for her salvation,it is between her and the Lord... I know we can say that the scriptures tell us that we know a tree by the fruit it bears and the Lord did say ,"if you love Me you will follow My commandments "but I just cannot pass judgement on someone like this gal because I was her...... For me I have testified many times here that though I loved Jesus and was saved I did not have a wham bam instantaneous transformation...it was a very slow process as being a babe in Christ I had many reservations and was not fully committed to Christ because I resisted those promptings of the Holy Spirit...my heart was convicted but my mind was resistant....I found every excuse under the sun to live in the world(the past ,present & future sin forgiven was a favorite),carefully looking up an appropriate Scripture to justify my lifestyle......so how could I ever pass judgement on someone who is just another sinner like me? Some mature rapidly, some slowly....some never benefit from having the personal relationship with Jesus that they can have and have something they harbor and are not so quick to forsake.......I just pray they have that revelation from the Holy Spirit and grow in Christ while the blood still flows in their veins and get to experience the abundant life that is available to them and the freedom in Christ Jesus that is beyond words, and oh...all the gifts He has to give......praise Jesus! She so needs our prayers..... 31. I agree. I have objections to Christians smacking the hands of other Christians simply because they feel uncomfortble with what others do. Traipsing through the threads, I have come to expect that what one person may consider a great effront, another will observe as culture. THAT, is why I think scritpure is our best guideline along with a conscience kept alive through a personal realtionship with God our Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. As Paul observed, the law serves to point out sin and where there is the law, is is more easily broken and the temptation to do so, actually increases. In fact, in Paul's own words, here is that observation: The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, Romans 5:20 Pointing out every sin in the world does nothing more than increase the temptation. Every day we sin...therefore, we realize the impossibility of pleasing God in our own flesh, that is, the observaton of the law and wearing it like a crown of thorns on our head. It simply does not work. There is freedom from the law only in Christ Jesus and while we are aware of our condition, we know that God's grace surpasses that condition and enables us to live in a fallen world...something that countless articles on how bad it all has gotten (and going to get worse folks) does not do. Yeah, I agree with you here.. and keeping in mind that what is okay for one person might not be for another, and vice versa. I have a real issue with the tendency to try to 'make law' stuff that isn't clearly delineated in the scripture. I don't think that gives enough credit to the wisdom of God or the guidance of the Spirit. I believe that if I am doing something that God does not want me doing, He will correct me. I am not against people giving me arguments for why they think an activity is wrong, but when they can't provide any solid scriptural reasons for it, why would I feel myself bound to their tastes or own personal convictions?

  34. Hi Zion. I hope my answer can be of some help. Concerning why there are so many Christian denominations, I try to refer folks to: 1 Corinthians 1:10-31 10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11) For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12) Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13) Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14) I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15) Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 16) And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17) For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20) Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29) That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. And: 1 Corinthians 3:1-23 1) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2) I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? 5) Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6) I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7) So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8) Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. 10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14) If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15) If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17) If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 18) Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19) For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 20) And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 21) Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22) Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23) And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. I love this: And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. Well, I hope that's helpful.

  35. ~ Really Beloved With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Ephesians 4:2-7 Where Do You Fit In? ~ Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 Love, Your Brother Joe

  36. God's Word is what it is. Who are we to change it? I think it would be better to focus on His Word as written. That doesn't answer the question. Do you think that every time you sin you lose your salvation until you repent again?

  37. Lets make this simple. Conservator has been told in front of his wife, by his wife's friend, that she is sleeping with men on the first date. She has been raised a Christian and has accepted Jesus as her savior. She has slipped a bit and is in sin. We have all been there in different ways. Sin I mean. She is no different to you and I to a degree. Do you gossip (come on not even just a little bit?), tell the occasional lie? Have the occasional bad though about someone? (come on, not even once?). Type the occasional testy post to someone on an internet site? (Want to see some?). All she needs is Love and Ministry and prayer, and perhaps some other help that only fellowship can bring. Her admission is a cry, not a boast. She needs Love, and Grace, and prayer. Don't we all, sinners that we are?

  38. Found this in Romans 6:1-4: "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." Is this what you mean?

  39. No i wasn't talking to you AFlameOfFire. I was talking to the others cause they misunderstood the concept of the prophecy. The mark of the beast may be an RFID chip that can be implanted under the skin.

  40. No you all are not getting it right. The mark of the beast may take its form in some sort of a microchip or a computer chip with tracking capabilities. The mark of the beast may be something that will be able to be read by a computer. And about Islam being the beast, i don't much agree with you cause i do make research on end time prophecies. The seven heads of the beast represent the world powers of Egypt, Syria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and America/British power. Take time to understand these prophecies so that you don't make a mistake.
