  1. Does anyone have a comment on the fact that she was unarmed and had a 1 year old child in the car with her? Did she have to be shot dead? And... When congress stands and applauds the announcement a member made about the Washington police doing an amazing job of protecting them (I saw this on TV), something is seriously wrong. The police might be doing a good job, but to applaud the death of a mentally unstable mother is not what I think should have happened. There are other ways to applaud the police for doing a good job. The subsequent investigation should prove interesting.

  2. There is only one time when all the nations will be gathered for judgment, all who has ever lived will stand before God, and this is at the Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20. Matthew 25 points to this time and is not a different Judgment when Jesus sit on the throne to judge all nations. Remember that Matthew 25 are parables, telling a story of what is to come. If Jesus was to judge all at His return, there would be nobody left to live in the Millennium and nobody to stand against Him when satan is released after 1000 years. Scripture tells us of only one Judgment of such magnitude where everyone will be judged, and that is after the 1000 year reign and the final battle with satan. Only after this judgment will the New Heaven and the New Earth be created. As for any second chance, there is none and that has been clearly stated by many. The only time anything is tested by fire is when our works are tested to see if they stand or not. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. "As through fire" means that the works we preform that are not His works will not stand and be burnt, for they cannot enter His kingdom with us, so through this fire, we are made complete in Him where our bad works are no more, only His works done through us will stand. Nowhere is scripture does it say that we are given a second chance by passing through the Lake of Fire. It has been asked many times that this teaching be backed with scripture and it has not. After 9 pages of discussion, if it were a true scriptural teaching, scripture would of been given. I believe that the lack of scriptural proof is clear enough to note that this is false teaching.

  3. Total agreement. I have a christian friend who I try to encourage - with words like: do you know how talented you are? If I could do what you do... he's very skilled in his area of expertise, but doesn't know it. Even with nice words like these which are very true, he takes offence to them. He feels judged, not even admonished, definitely not encouraged. I've not seen him in a while... is he that insecure? I don't know what his problem is, but I do know that you can't please everyone, so i just try to concentrate on what God has for me to do/say. I pray that God gets through to him. Know yhe truth and the truth will set you free.

  4. No I don't shuffle blame anywhere. I'm just trying to understand God's ways of doing things. For example, take my dad for instance. My dad was a good father and raised me right and gave me a place to live and eat. My dad then grows old, dies and goes to hell. Was my dad's only purpose in life..fatherhood without God? God is creating all these people throughout time, giving them good lives..allowing them to live their atheist lives for 90 years, then they die and go to hell. What's the point of that??? It baffles me. It just does. This is where I'm at in my walk. I'm jumping in here, I have had those questions about my dad too but ultimately my dad made his own choices during his lifetime. I see God as a parent who warns a child not to do certain things that will lead to disaster but the child is determined to go ahead anyway regardless. And the child suffers the consequences of those decisions. Trust me, the Father mourns.

  5. Revelation 20 provides the clear progression, and timing of when the LOF is first, and only used. It's following the Millennial reign that Jesus judges the living and the dead. Rev 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison Rev 20:10-15 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (11) Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. (13) The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. (14) Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. (15) Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20&21 are in agreement with Matthew 25:46 concerning the wicked. Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." Revelation 20&21 are in agreement with Matthew 25:46 concerning the righteous. The sheep not only participate in the the Millennial Reign but continue into the Kingdom as shown in revelation 21. Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. Rev 21:1-3 Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. (2) I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. (3) And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Rev 21:7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. This is what Jesus said and considering the lack of substantial argument you have provided, and the blatant disregard for context and clear meaning of Jesus' words, it's obvious this Evangelical Universalism is false doctrine. It's so full of holes I'm wondering if you are serious in presenting it or are playing a game.

  6. My ex-husband (who is still my friend) goes to church on Sundays. But during the week he does go to the bar, he plays the lottery everyday and spends money he don't have. On occasions because he drives and I don't he will come and take me to the stores and do a few chores that I may need help with. He believes that just because he goes to church on Sunday and does favors for people that this will help him get into heaven. But the Bible says you are not saved by works.. Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Now in the first example he does good works by going to church. During the week he does not do good works. If the Bible teaches we are not saved by works then it makes me believe there is no difference between the good works and the bad works but the Bible teaches us to do good things.and God is not pleased when we do wrong. But if he is living the life doing both good and bad works how does he then obtain the grace of God?

  7. Hi. We are never to stand in judgement of other Christians either. The Bible teaches the same as the Catholic Church, that drunkeness is wrong. It does not say that it is wrong to have A drink. But it is wrong to be addicted--an alcoholic. So only he and the Lord know if he is addicted. Likewise, it is not wise to buy lottery tickets but it is not forbidden in the Bible. Pray that God fill him with His Holy Spirit and give him wisdom as to how best to spend his money. We are told not to drink wine to excess and I am sure that would include beer, but to be filled with the Holy Spirit. So I will be praying to that end. Blessings, Willa

  8. Revelation 7 clearly shows that those 144000 are all from the tribes of Israel, not from those grafted into the vine (Gentiles). Revelation 7:4-9 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

  9. "Jacob's Trouble", Remember that Jacob is Israel The trial is for the earth's inhabitants, including Israel---not the Church of Jesus Christ, which is absent at that time. Nowhere in scripture is it ever mentioned that the redeemed go through these judgments. In fact it is said at every judgment that comes that no one repents. It is for the unbelieving world. Why else do you think it is referred to as "Jacob's Trouble"? Israel doesn't accept their Messiah, but the Church does.

  10. I should have mentioned that he goes to a Catholic Church and confesses to a priest his sins believing that is repentance. Then he just starts all over again. How is it that him believing that telling his sins to a priest is the answer to repenting?

  11. A phobia as I understand it is an irrational fear of something....speaking for myself, I am not in fear of God's wrath because The Lord Jesus took all the Fathers wrath for my sin on calvary.

  12. Blessings conservator and Worthy family! What I would say is we are all a process of repentance....only God knows the heart and she is accountable for her salvation,it is between her and the Lord... I know we can say that the scriptures tell us that we know a tree by the fruit it bears and the Lord did say ,"if you love Me you will follow My commandments "but I just cannot pass judgement on someone like this gal because I was her...... For me I have testified many times here that though I loved Jesus and was saved I did not have a wham bam instantaneous transformation...it was a very slow process as being a babe in Christ I had many reservations and was not fully committed to Christ because I resisted those promptings of the Holy Spirit...my heart was convicted but my mind was resistant....I found every excuse under the sun to live in the world(the past ,present & future sin forgiven was a favorite),carefully looking up an appropriate Scripture to justify my lifestyle......so how could I ever pass judgement on someone who is just another sinner like me? Some mature rapidly, some slowly....some never benefit from having the personal relationship with Jesus that they can have and have something they harbor and are not so quick to forsake.......I just pray they have that revelation from the Holy Spirit and grow in Christ while the blood still flows in their veins and get to experience the abundant life that is available to them and the freedom in Christ Jesus that is beyond words, and oh...all the gifts He has to give......praise Jesus! She so needs our prayers..... With love,in Christ-Kwik

  13. There are places you can be ordained online. You do not even have to be a Christian to get ordained as a Christian minister on those sites. That should give you an idea of what value that kind of ordination carries.
