  1. It would be really encouraging if those who request prayer would take the time to give us an update, often prayers are requested ...we pray...and we hear nothing more. There are some who do but most don't..and that's really sad.. We would love to give thanks as we ought to for answered prayer..we are all a part of a big church family and as such ..we love each other in The Lord and have concern one for the other so please consider those who took the time to pray for you...give The Lord the glory and..give us some encouragement Luke 17 :17-18 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. He is worthy to be praised He is worthy of honour He is worthy to receive glory

  2. For some Christians, have they turned their political views into an idol? Have some become so focused on political views that they have made it into a crusade and lost sight of the Lord? I know many of us do not remotely like obama and his administration, but it seems like some believers are too focused on it. It crossed my mind today after yet another rant on it, that it may have become the center of some peoples lives.

  5. I have been having arthritis pain in my right leg. It is especially frustrating because I like to take a walk every day, but I have difficulty now because of the pain. You can say a prayer for me and I'll let you know how it comes out. I am 68 years old and I figure that it is old age catching up with me.

  6. If things didn't turn out as planned, I don't know if I'd be in the mood to talk about it. Just a thought.

  8. Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. Reflections:- These words are the same words that Jesus says to each and everyone of us, each and everday of our life. Have faith in Him, to be healed, to be set free, to be comforted, to know God in a more personal way. Through your relationship with Jesus, you increase your faith in Him, who will always be by your side. George Calleja – Malta

  9. Many times people marry an unsaved person thinking they're in love and that in time, the saved person will get the other one saved. Or both are unsaved at the time of marriage and one spouse will get saved afterwards. Unfortunately, what usually happens is that the saved person ends up falling away or the marriage is in constant conflict. It's a really bad situation and only brings strife into the relationship and marriage, and often times the marriage ends up in the divorce court.

  10. Give reasons why, using scripture. That's like me saying that the AC is not going to be Lithuanian and leaving it at that! There are a lot of parallels with Islam and the nature of the Beast. The parallels only exist because when the muhammeden (I think followers of muhammed were called muhammeden before they were called islamists/muslims, etc.) wrote the koran they interlaced verses from the Bible/Torah within their own writings. I am sure, some muhammeden read the Revelation of John and decided to give their "10th immam" the traits of the person least like Jesus Christ as possible. Which so happens to be the AC. They did this to sell islam as a legitimate religion. It's the classic mix a little truth in with fiction and you can convince people it is true. Islam came about over 400 years after Christ died. So, people in that part of the world knew of Jesus, they were also mostly illiterate, but they had just enough knowledge of Christianity that they could be easily manipulated into believing a lie. Muhammed came along, and for whatever reason, like many people and false prophets do still today, used religion to gain power and wealth. Once he got enough followers they began being deifying him as the prophet of prophets. In my mind, he is no more a prophet than david koresh, or Joseph Smith, Jim Jones, etc. were. He was just in a time where people were superstitious and ignorant enough to believe he was anything special. Also, convert or die was a very convicing proposition for most people. To see the koran as a prophetic book, means to make it equivalent to the bible and no Christian should ever make that mistake. We can expect the world to be gullible enough to believe in the prophecies of the koran. But Christians should know better. Well said.
